Hello 👋. It’s those little things they do when they build trucks 😌. They just forget to tell / write , explain these things to anyone else 😳 and how help full they can be 🤔. Splices in a wiring harness I’d rather not. If possible. Hope you have a good day 😎. Jeff. SC

I have a 2024 f350 xl I like it except it doesn’t have a power seat have you ever put a power seat in one that didn’t come with one from the factory?

think i wouldve pinned a ground into the male and female sides of the plug rather than cutting the wire.

That’s awesome. It drives me nuts because we send our trucks to get upfit with a utility box and they just splice the brake signal. Next truck we get in I am going to point this out for the upfit company.

I spoke with my local diesel mechanic and asked him about the CP4 bypass kit like the one installed on this truck and he told me that in 30+ years of working on diesel engines he's seen some things but never a failure on the fuel pump of a Ford diesel. He told me that if I had a dirty max he would definitely do it because trucks don't have a lift pump and that's why they fail. But chevy cargo vans with a diesel have a lift pump and never fail. You would think they would use the Van technology on their pickem up trucks. I plan to have my 2018 F350 dually for a very long time and want to make sure it runs to the best of it's ability. I'm currently in process of shedding a few pounds under the truck and tuning it to make it run as it was intended.

@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod One of these days I am going to have to jump across the border and visit your shop, I don't have a diesel mechanic that does aftermarket mods, he only deals with OEM products in Windsor . Unfortunately none of the diesel mechanics over here really do anything outside of dealer specs.

Thanks ARod. I’ve been using my OEM Bottle jack (& jack stands & chock blocks) for years, since the head of my floor jack is too big to fit in the Ford-recommended lift points. Using the OEM Bottle Jack is obviously a lot more time consuming, but I didn’t want to experiment with lift points. Your advice has always been solid, so I’m gonna apply it & get more use out of my Floor Jack. I’ll reserve my bottle jack for roadside emergencies. Thank you!

This would be a good time for you to do a video of how to install the Ford Rapid Heat Supplemental Cabin Heater that you should have ordered with the truck for $250. I'm hearing that the juice isn't worth the squeeze, and that dash has to be pretty much fully disassembled. ARod has a shortcut for us? Please? I hope? This damned truck won't fit in my garage, man, and it's getting cold!

Old vid but still valid! Been chasing a leak on my ‘20 for about a year. Checked everything you mentioned from multiple vids. Turns out it was a poor seal from my replacement windshield. No visible leaks other than wet driver floorboard. Insurance is paying for new windshield and full carpet replacement, 100%.
