Just thought I'd let you guys know! If you game over, your seed changes. You keep your stars, but all the random locations change. (I learned this the hard way.) Great video, and hope this helps!

9:43 - I can't be the only person who rides atop the penguin at this part. Every time I watch this part on somebody's playthrough, they do it the more tedious way by walking alongside it. **Shrug** Oh well.

A few pro tips regarding controls: While jumping on a steep slant, you can push the B button in the air to dive forward. You can also do a triple jump up a hill. Just make sure that the first two jumps are on a level surface, and then make the third jump on the hill. You can also use a combination of jumps and kicks to slowly move yourself back up hills and slides :)

I’d recommend doing the “Pluck the Piranha Flower” star on Tiny Huge island. It’s interesting because the flowers are all in different locations so you have to search a bit, but it’s more fun than the original star. For reference i’ve beaten the seed up too 107 stars so I have completed most of it.

Austin calls side jumps backflips and it annoys me because I used backflips all the time in the game to reach areas because it is easier and safer.

I like this. Figure out some speed-run STRATS Like: If you hold A while going up slopes, you can keep hitting B to kick forever, to slightly make your way upwards. Example: The white slopes where the giant balls keep rolling down in Bob Omb Battlefield, try holding A and kicking up there.

alright, so since you might run into more objects on slopes, here are some tips for getting that extra bit of height to reach them! if you jump, then double jump and land on the slope, you CAN triple jump on the slope (but you can't do the second jump on a steep slope, so be careful!) if you ground pound, you'll actually gain a tiny extra bit of height! if you slide down a slope forward (on your butt), you can jump, hold backwards (up the slope), and air kick to gain a tiny bit of distance up the slope. It's tricky, but you can repeat this as much as possible, even on some extremely steep slopes air kicks can basically work like a tiny little double-jump or air stall in mid-air, so you can use them to drift backwards and stuff hopefully these can help!

9:35 - This isn't me trying to be facetious and trolly, honest, but.... Is it not common knowledge that you can climb atop the penguin to completely avoid the wind? I often see KZbinrs hide behind the penguin, which seems far more precarious. Just double-jump in place when the penguin approaches you, Mario will grab onto the penguin's head like it's a ledge, and you can pull yourself up.

You should do the mysterious mountainside star(Tall Tall Mountain Secret Slide). It's one of my favorites.
