You're welcome. Ya I usually replace or reapply the thermal paste, I just don't do it on video just to save footage time etc. I have to always take it apart after the video's to make sure all is in place and re apply adhesive to the back plate.

Thanks, glad it was of help. I think after removing the midplate all you have to do is disconnect the cable and remove the screws for the bracket thats holding down the flex cable for the button etc.

Hi there. I change the termal paste today, was completely dry. I still didnt make any test to confirm but feels good. BTW, I have the SKW-A0 12GB-256GB and long time ago I started having issues with sync (data and contacts) so I decided to change the version of JOYUI and now I have the international version and is even showing I have SKW-HO, is there any difference in hardware between china and international version??? Hi, not sure what the master touch is. But if you mean the touch screen, its possible the screen might have been damaged when you pried it off or maybe the connector. Make sure the cable is connected properly.

Hi, it would probably be one of the soldered chips on the mother board which would require de soldering to remove and soldering a new one but not sure exactly which one since its probably under one of the covered shields. You can also take apart the phone and make sure all the cables are connected and have not become loose as well as all the covers and screws in place properly to ensure a good signal.

What heat source did you use to loosen the display glue? How hot? How long exposed?

I usually use a blow dryer or hair dryer since it more evenly spreads the heat and decreases the chance of accidentally damaging anything. I apply heat evenly first by going around the entire screen to warm it up so you don't risk cracking the glass by having one side hot and other cold when you try and pry it off. Then I concentrate heat around the area I am going to try and pry from first and get my pry tool in to work my way around. Then just apply heat as needed if you find it hardening up on you. The first time trying to pry the screen isn't as easy as the second time would be since the original adhesive is usually strong and on these guys some parts of the top and bottom have a glue type adhesive that acts like crazy glue. But just be patient and don't rush you should be fine. :)

Not sure what you mean. If you're asking if the screen worked after putting it back together, yes I show it in the end of the video. The screen has some sort of glue or adhesive around the edges holding it down to the midframe. If you take it off, you would need to apply new adhesive strips to re apply the screen. I have a video on how to apply new adhesive to your smartphone screen that you can watch. Also the earpiece speaker is held on with adhesive to the midframe.

Not sure honestly, first try backing your data up and then do a factory reset on the phone see if it fixes the issue. If not, try a new charger, if still nothing then I would look into the charger port

If water got inside the phone, you might need to take it apart and dry it put and brush off any corrosion on chips or connectors which my might be setting off sensors. It's not an easy disassembly and there is the risk of breaking or damaging the screen if you take it apart so if you don't think you're up for it then take it to a repair shop that can do it for you.

Hi pbk, I just bought my bs2 pro last month but I've accidentally splashed some water to the phone (I dropped a cup of water), after some water goes into the phone, it shut on and off itself, but I've let the phone heat up by the sun, after a couple hours, the phone is working completely find, but my question is what will happen to my phone, cause I've vacuumed the phone from the SIM card tray using a vacuum after I let the sun heat it up, will the internal rust?

@@chanyongchuen2270 Well the fact you said it shut off and on after the initial water got in, that clearly means water got in contact with parts of the motherboard. You can keep using it as is but there is always the chance it can short later on. It might not and work fine also but if it does short then your out of luck. Also if water got in the phone the warranty is already void because there are water damage sticker indicators around the phone which turn color when exposed to moisture so warranty is probably already void if water got inside. But again this phone is not an easy phone to take apart so maybe just leave it as is unless you want to take it to an actual repair shop that can do it for you because taking off the screen can cause it to break.

Yes, the back is held on with adhesive. You would need to heat it up with a hair dryer and pry it off. Also the battery is replaceable as well but you would need to heat up and pry the screen off to disassemble the phone and gain access to removing the battery.

Its normal for the phone to heat up while charging or playing games. It shouldn't get way too hot that you cant hold it but it will heat up especially if you are charging it at the same time as playing a game since not only is the battery getting warm, the display is staying on heating up and the processor is being used heating up so all that would cause the phone to heat up quite a bit

It has liquid cooling, somewhat large vapor chamber and a heat pip on other end along with copper heat spreader. Better cooling than last model they had.

OMG!!!! The focus on that camera. Once your hand covers the phone the focus is on the hand, like in portrait mode. Stopped watching after 20 sec

Sorry the camera just focuses on what is in front of it, need to tweak some settings I guess.
