Came here to see if it can handle being submerged in water from the last video. Seems like it has a lot of seals in place to keep water from entering. Wasn't really a lot of commit on if water managed to get in other than the one seal that didn't change colors

He did mention that the water damage indicator did not change colour so water did not enter the phone. I'd still be a bit scared to drop this phone in water though, that bio polymer material seems like it could get damp or allow some moister through, just my opinion.

Yes they are basically using the NFC antenna on the black plastic cover as shown in the video, as well as incorporating the the antenna built into the frame on the top and top corners. Same with the wi-fi which uses the antennas on the top side of the frame and bottom side. You're welcome :)

Both are good but I would say the GT2 pro is slightly better. The vapor chamber is slightly larger and the thermal paste quality is better.

Back up all your data, and do a factory reset (which will erase everything on the phone). This should reprogram the new fingerprint sensor to the board and get it working.

If there is a really important feature under the display then I would pry it off as well but prying off the working screen might damage it and I don't really get many views on KZbin yet to be able to keep doing these type of videos if I destroy the phones. However I will look into removing the screens as well in future videos. :)

the cooling system just some copper tape with thermal paste? i thought got heatpipe like samsung because they advertise thier cooling is the best

This has a stainless steel vapor chamber underneath the screen. You can see it at 7:09, it's the slightly darker grey metal with the thermal paste, extending all the way to the yellow outline in the battery compartment. For a normal form factor phone, this GT2 Pro has a really big vapor chamber.

Bro just need a clarification...at video time 3.33 it shows Qualcomm PM8350 (8350 is sanpdragon 888), but gt2 pro states it got snapdragon 8 gen 1 which is 8450. So is it having snapdragon 888 under the hood

@@DannTeBg Hi! There's nothing to worry about. You can clearly see it says PM 8350 NOT SM8350. The PM stands for power management, Therefore it's the power management chipset. The Realme GT2 Pro sports the snapdragon 8 gen 1 chipset as stated in the specs of the phone.

Did the water test mess up the speaker? I just dropped mine in a bucket of water and the speaker is now awful. Drying it for 24hrs to see if it will go back to normal.

They are both good in my opinion. I really like the IQOO 9 Pro's large fingerprint sensor under the screen and the one touch setup for it but the vapor chamber on the GT2 Pro is larger. If I had to choose, I would possibly go with the IQOO 9 Pro because of that very large fingerprint sensor.

@@shoaibshaikh8153 hmm not sure, I guess it comes down to personal preference but I personally don't like curved displays, they annoy me at times lol but the most annoying thing is laggy fingerprint sensors so that is most important feature for me when it comes to unlocking the device. I hate it when i have to keep trying my fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone so since the IQOO 9 pro has such a fast and large sensor, its a big plus for me. The iqoo 9 however doesnt have that same large finger print sensor the iqoo 9 pro version has.
