This cartoon was made with so much heart and you can definitely see it in the final product

This show, together with Hey Arnold! was so groundbreaking for the time. Not just slapstick comedy, and with mostly realistic plots of normal kids living a normal life. And they dealt with heavy topics on such a sensitive way. I would love to see a reboot or continuation!

I kinda like how they had the characters get older cause it makes it more real . As opposed to most cartoons like South Park Simpson’s Beavis and Butthead etc where the characters don’t age .

In the newer Beavis & Butthead episodes, there's some skits where they're like 40 years old. It's hilarious. 😂

Since the original show ended with freshman year in high school, this would be the perfect time to revive it with new actors (if they cant get the old ones) and just say everyone's voice is changing as they get older. I also love the idea of adapting it to a live action TV series but i doubt they could do a full retro feel from before smartphones and technology was everywhere. Technology is so suffocating now, it would be a totally different series if they tried to reboot it.

Down here in Brazil, mainly for those who born at 90s, As Told By Ginger were and are very popular as well. Personally, I LOVE THIS CARTOON! It represented me soooo much on my teenage years (specially Carl's behaviour) 😂😂😂 GREAT VIDEO BY THE WAY.

I always found it weird that all the characters in Ginger changed clothes, but Carl and Hoodsey always wore the same outfit. However the problem comes when it comes to merchandising, without an iconic recognizable outfit. It also pretty much kills any type of cosplay possibilities. Interestingly there was a show on Nickelodeon called Blue's Clues where the one live-action character, Steve, wore the same thing in every episode. And apparently _some_ kids (and I emphasize *some* because I don't know of anybody who did this) refused to change their clothes because Steve never did. Again, I can't verify how rampant this was, because I certainly had no issue with changing my clothing. I think it was just one or perhaps two angry letters of moms who were upset that their kids were not changing clothes, and the New York Times decided to write an article on it, making it seem like a much bigger problem than it actually was. But in response, Steve's successor, Joe, wore different colors shirts with the same design.

I think Carl and Hoodsey had multiple outfits that were the same.

It would if anything give cosplayers more ammo to decide what look to choose from. In the first season, I always attributed that one long sleeve flower top to be Gingers iconic go to outfit. She even had the top in other colors.
@cookie-kei2 жыл бұрын
@aishah abdelnoor I wouldn't say it's that huge of an issue. There being options gives you the space to pick something in your wheel house. Not everyone cosplays for the sake of being a carbon copy of the characters. Some people enjoy taking creative liberties and the end goal is to have fun so let people have fun.

Courtney and Miranda while yes they had quite a few outfit changes --probably to tie in with thier fashion conscious traits-- even they had at least one outfit often associated with them.

I recently read online that it was originally intended for Courtney to have a crush on Ginger and to have an episode where they tackle this subject. Unfortunately this was vetoed by Nickelodeon. I can’t help but wonder how this would’ve been adapted and considering how things have changed in these past 20 years, would Nickelodeon have been more open to showing LGBTQ+ themes.?

I agree. Zim, Ginger, and All Grown Up were the last great nicktoons. It's no coincidence that Cyma took over around the same that Nick went down the toilet, and she drove Nick right into the ground.

I definitely enjoyed the series when it came out as a kid my favorite as told by Ginger episode to this day is far from home where Ginger had to study in that special private school and Darren admits his feelings for her I even been to watch the series last year I just wish that season 3 didn't mess up their relationship a little showing how downhill they got real fast for no reason and later in the end of the series it show that they got married and had a child together I seen kind of out of left field and I kind of admit it's Darren's fault he drifted away from her they were so close I know friends go apart but it seems like he's the one who has to earn her forgiveness not the other one around.

Loved seeing you virtually at the reunion and hope to meet you in person someday soon :) I'm going to start a Tik Tok or Insta or something...answering fans questions, giving fun behind the scenes info, etc. and would love your imput. Wouldn't it be great to have our next reunion in person at Comic Con? You've done so much incredible research. Well done!

Great video, Patricia! I'm glad you made this as if it were the unofficial "107 Facts" video that "ATBG" deserves. Just a quick correction: the pilot was completed in 1999 according to its end credits (which the user Originalsboy11 captured from its airing on The Splat), not 1998.

Jesus loves you. If you repent of your sins and give your life to Him: He will fill you with love, give you happiness in your life, and bless you. The next time that you feel sick or worried or scared, ask Jesus into your heart and your life will get better. Videos will never fill the void inside of you, but Jesus will if you give your life to Him. He will love you, keep you company, and answer your questions. He is real and a lot of the time He will speak to you through your conscience. God is love and everything good comes from Him. Everything good in the world comes from love. Romantic love, familial love, friendship, the love you feel for your hobbies, the love you have for your favorite music, favorite food, favorite movie, etc. All of it comes from God. Without love there is no point to life. It is what we all live for and it is what we were all made for, but the devil tries to ruin everything with fear, stress, worry, etc Try to get to know God. He is truly worth worshipping.
