I FIXED IT all you need to do is take out your RAM and wipe it with a dry towel or blow on it and place it back but push down and wait for a click on both sides make sure it's in correctly or it won't work. Hope this helped 👍

I have a 7720 with 1 beep but it seems only when in the dock - this does this on several docks that don't produce this with any of the other Dell laptops I have. 6800's 4700's 6420's etc. Thoughts

Can u help me my dell is beeping 8 beeps kn startup without a screen but after i opened the screen and reseated the lcd cable twice but it still doesn't work , i have a vostro dell 3360 laptop and its over 8 yrs old

My coworker uses a Dell Precision laptop that makes a very loud, almost musical, beeping sound on startup. It is not a steady 1, 2 or 8 beeps. It's different than any code you noted (on Dell's website). Our IT department can't duplicate it remotely, as they are located in another city, so they can't resolve it. It's not consistent, so it's also hard to capture unless he has his phone out with every start. Any suggestions?

Hi, I'd run the Dell Diagnostics after hitting f12 while first powering on. But it's hard to diagnose a problem without us having the laptop here. Contact us if you're still having issues.

@@dellpartspeople Our IT department has that aspect locked up. They even have Windows updates restricted from manual updates. I just thought I'd throw it out there to see if it was a known issue.

I have a Dell 7490 Latitude - that when I hit the power button, it turns on and boots up for for me to login and use it. But when I hit that power button (using the battery only) there's one very long amber LED beep. When I put the laptop on charge, the LED comes on and stays amber throughout the whole charge cycle.

Man, I’ve owned a few dell laptops and they all had so many hardware problems. I got an HP laptop and this has been running like brand new for 4 years no problems. Something is wrong with dell.

My problem solved - Cable loose in front audio panel causing "2 Amber lit permanently" ok now Disassembled and re assembled fixed Yeah On a Dell T5600 Sorted
