Great build! Appreciate showing the mistakes too instead of editing the out

@@matuzaato I wish I fan keep things perfect. But it is kinda fun to fix those problems too, right?

Great to see the whole process Joseph! I'm feeling inspired... Perhaps it's time for a new rig?!

A bit funny, I commented on your Terra video when I was putting my Terra together, and I now have the AP201. If this trend continues your next video will be of the Lian Li Dan Cases A3. :)

Good video Joseph! I have been wanting to try the AP201 with an air cooler. With the ATX power supply, it looked to have a lot of room.

@@REMISCStv yeah! Just don't orient it if you have the inline pump. :)

I use the Phantom Spirit to cool a 7800X3D in the AP201, works well.

I know nothing of computers but wish to build one. Are these parts all little overkill for gaming?
@JosephKim20 күн бұрын
Haha, building is so much more fun! Depends on the game I suppose.

How's this build compared to the BIMBOX? TIA I use Autodesk Civil 3D and I've been researching them and come across your videos.
@JosephKim2 ай бұрын
@@mbhamann it's been awhile I featured BIMBOX. :) It will entirely dependant on the specific config and the pricing will be vastly different. I prefer more DIY and economical solution than premium pre-build as BIMBOX.
@mbhamann2 ай бұрын
@@JosephKim I also prefer my own build, I just always wonder what I'm missing out on and where I should put the money. I've got four computers I will be replacing shortly and wondering if I should use the new Ultras. Yes I prefer Intel and Nvidia combos.
@JosephKim2 ай бұрын
I heard great things with Ultra + Nvidia combo too! Perhaps you can get more performance with premium pre builds, but I don't think I can justify in terms of performance to dollar ratio.

That is more than enough thermal paste, i wouldnt have put more.. maybe slightly less even lol
@JosephKim4 ай бұрын
@@RainOrbs I thought it has to cover the entire surface of the 'lid'. It was my first time with the larger AM5, so didn't know what was right.
@RainOrbs4 ай бұрын
@@JosephKim a pea size is good, when screwing down it creates pressure and causes the paste to spread fully over the surface, you might even have excess pooring out but it's no harm, nice build!
@JosephKim4 ай бұрын
@@RainOrbs I suppose the pea size wisdom continues with AM5! Will do that next time. 😁
@stabizisback4 ай бұрын
@@JosephKim I would also use a AM5 secure frame. It doesnt improve cooling much, but they are cheap and make cleaning up thermal paste so much easier if you are changing cooler, paste or whatever.
