Rough? Have you played new hitman movies? hitman 2000 is a game, many options to do objectives. Others with exception of blood money are shooters. not puzzle fps. and the music is art itself in hitman 1.

It is easy compared to other Hitman games. The controls are messy but there is no rating system. You only lose money on killed civilians. If you know the drill, it is a "piece of cake." @1:21:58 Look at this, even the idiot approach is legit in this game. Just be Rambo. :D

No problem, you won't need any because missions ain't that long. E. g Lee Hong Assassination. First strangle the guy in front of the storage locker, then get the inventation to the brothel from the bar tender, then free CIA agent to get the position of the jade figurine, free the hooker to get the code for the safe, get the jade figurine, exchange the figurine for poison at the merchant, kill a servant in the restroom, poison the food, serve the food to his personal bodyguard, get your suit back, take the red dragon uniform from the killed guard in the basement - because he has already been found, get into Lee Hong's hideout, strangle him, escape with the boat.

I bought this game 14 years ago. This is not my first video game, but this is the first legitimate purchase I made for any video game. Lol, this game is super easy. There is no rating system, just a penalty for killing civilians, so you don't even have to finnish a mission the smart way. ;) Even though it is highly recommended because it is actually the easiest way. The restrictions and mechanics put in place on later iterations of Hitman make the game really tough.

I've played this game during my childhood, as well as Contracts, and only now did I realize the latter is basically a remastered version of Codename 47 - the mission locations and story is almost identical. I wish they'd remaster it once more. What a game!

I haven't played the newest Hitman game, but the original Hitman and Hitman 2 are my favorites in the series. It's funny to think how those graphics were cutting edge back then. For the time, Hitman was pretty revolutionary as far as gameplay mechanics. There wasn't really any other game like it.

The atmosphere, soundtrack, locations and gameplay of Codename 47 and Hitman 2: SA is Absolutely Marvelous. It completely overpowers and owns the recent Absolution and the new 6th Hitman. Second best would be Contracts and then Blood Money though the latter was too easy but still very enjoyable. PC game abusing kids these days don't want and don't know how to think for themselves, all they think and care about is graphic, not the actual gameplay and the atmosphere of the game. That's why Hitman series has been turned into a dumbed down, button-mashing, empty american consumerist Hollywood movie... And that's why Hitman 1-4 (with Jesper Kyd) was, is, and will always be the best.

Golden Turtle It has everything to do with "PC game abusing kids these days". The time that kids spent nowadays on playing PC games is statistically much higher than 15 years ago. With improvements in technology and the massive surge of new PC games, kids start to spend more and more time on playing PC games, that's why they're abusing it. And that's why game series are starting to gradually become more simplistic and consumeristic. As a result, the game series are starting to loose their creative value which made the game popular and likable in the first place.

I just realized they used the same voice actor all these years. It sounds like the same voice. I played this on my buddy's PC back in high school. I thought it was the closest we'd ever get to realistic graphics. Glad I was mistaken lol

Hitman is NOT about wasting time and money on weapons you don't use during the missions. Although quite interesting video, reminds me these hours I spent playing this game. Thanks!
