This intro..one of the absolute greatest introductions in gaming, with the ominous music, id's logo and then finally Wolfenstein coming up...this was magic. And the rest of the game was, and still is fantastic. The best in the series.

One of my favorite levels to play over and over was the air base. You can snipe so many of them away before leaving that gutter you start in. That and the frozen Norway facility was so fun. Jeez so many great memories playing this game when I was a kid. They really did a terrific job with this Wolfenstein game. They had me hooked since I was a 6 year old boy playing Wolf 3D on DOS. And here I am almost 30 years later still playing different variations of it.

Definitely the best Wolfenstein. My top 3 would have to be: RTCW TNO 3D/TNC (3D if I'm feeling nostalgic and TNC if I'm not)

Joshua Riddensdale Yeah ToB is pretty good, and I loved the homage that is payed to RTCW. Nostalgia aside, I'd put ToB ahead of 3D at No. 4 and place the latter at No. 5 (3D can jump a couple spots up depending on my mood).

so judging from video description i will note 2 facts: 1. About resolution yes 800X450 is not official resolution but 800X600 is 2. new players be careful on I am Death incarnate! (hard) difficulty which is enemies more aware and do more damage to you oh yeah and you get less ammo too

My biggest gripe with this play through is your constant inability or unwillingness to reload. A perfect example is at 2:31:52. You find more Venom ammo, and your Venoms clip is soon to run out, yet you don’t think to reload it and pick up the more ammo. It happens so often in this video that I can only imagine that it was either some sort of self-inflicted challenge or you weren’t aware enough to notice your ammo count

Very true. Even during the starting phase, instead of reloading before jumping into another fight, he just blazes in with 9 bullets. Then during the fight, he is reloading while getting hit by enemies. Seemed strange for otherwise nice gameplay.

I always wondered what super soldiers are suppose to be ? They are obviously not only robots because they bleed. Were they human soldiers to whom they surgicaly placed armor on them and damage their brain or were they zombies from crypt dressed into armor ? (maybe thats why german soldiers were in crypt in the crypt level, to pick up right candidates and put them back to life in xlabs) anyone have any idea ? how did you interpret them when you were kid playing game ?
