gustav hesoun Well said. I completely agree with you man. Truthfully though, at first I also saw it as something negative, because if you're playing on Hard you're in REALLY deep shit in the majority of the missions, mostly due to the lack of ammo, but also due to the overwhelming amount of enemies you face. However, I've learned that it's very much possible to win on Hard (admittingly after a frustruating amount of retries, but hey, I wouldn't want it any other way), you just have to savescum and be patient and you should be rather fine. And yes, just like you said, it forces you to play more strategically and tactically, which indeed is pretty damn great. And, oh, lets not forget that it makes the game way more realistic. Needless to say, I think this expansion is one of the better ones, probably even The best.

I myself don't have the time nor energy to restart from the checkpoint every time I die, especially considering the extreme difficulty level in AA:Breakthrough (also, minumum amount ammo when playing on Hard). Save scumming isn't cheating, thus I see no wrong in that whatsoever. Not to mention that I've about 15 games on Steam that I haven't even tried yet.. So.. Yea...

Oh, yeah, there's nothing wrong with saving in different places. I have been playing Allied Assault on hard while only using the level transition changes but it does get a little tedious if I fail many times. I don't know, it's difficult. I don't feel tense when playing video games and I haven't for a while but if I only use level transition saves when I get to the end and I'm on low life and can be quite tense. However, also angering if I die to some bull way -cough- mission 2 final part of running to the train -cough-

Unlike spearhead and allied assault, in this game you NEED to conserve ammo at all cost. DON'T EVER HOLD ON AUTOMATICS!

This game would be much easier for others if they wouldn't fire a full magazine of SMG ammunition into a single enemy. Just aim for the face, or knock down your enemies with a few shots, then bash them with a melee attack. It's a questionable strategy in some missions, but thats way better than having absolutely no ammo.

The one thing MoH consistently got wrong was the amount of bullets needed to take down an enemy. Several shots from the M1? Please... those are .30 rounds.

Roundabout 3:09:00 there's a corner spot on the balcony on the left you're safe and can snipe the germans rushing up to the plunger.

+zenoist2 ya I got shot to hell on that final sniper part in the castle. I found a way to stay out of sight by backing up a bit then moving to the left. That way I had a small "peep hole" to where the det spot was and I could snipe them.

Medal of Honor Allied Assault was the last big titel of the MOH series... all was came behind was more to try making it moneywasting.... MOH Airborn was good.. but not as good as AA.... i miss these good days where EA give great quality for good money.. and not shit for expensiv trash...
