Power Rangers: Beats of Power is a free fan-made beat-em-up videogame for PC and Mac. It combines aspects of classic Power Rangers video games for the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis, as well as adding original elements.

The thing is, Rita Repulsa & Lord Zedd cannot/shouldn't be killed. Mystic super villain forms (their most memorable looks, which later gave birth to their resentful villainous offspring Thrax, who hated finding out his once powerful parents were ultimately purified) or or not, they are still human deep down ("Countdown to Destruction" from _Power Rangers In Space_ canonically proved this when Zordon's energy wave purified the freshly humanized couple). Unlike their henchmen (Finster, Squatt, Baboo, Goldar & Scorpina) & their monster-of-the-day baddies slain by the Megazord (original Dino Zord Megazord, Dragon Zord in Battle Mode [Tommy as the Green Ranger], Tiger Zord in Battle Mode [Tommy as the White Ranger], Thunder Zord [season 2 update to the Dinozords], Ninjetti [the creation of new life force-based "spirit animal" Zords with help from either Ninjor, original creator of the Power Coins, in the TV episodes capping off the 3rd season or Dulcea, a female shaman type ally of Zordon's exclusive to the 1995 theatrical movie], or Shogun Zord [the final iteration of the Megazord before the _Power Rangers Zeo_ seasons]) or if necessary, the Ultrazord (the designated Megazord combined with carrier zord Titanus [an immensely powerful forerunner to the later Bracchio Zord from a later incarnation of _Power Rangers_ basically] or the turtle-like Tor the Shuttle Zord [which Tommy used exclusively once the Green Ranger powers were depleted & the Tiger Zord was destroyed by either Rito Revolto in the show or Ivan Ooze in the movie before the Ninjetti Falcon Zord replaced the latter]), Rita Repulsa & Lord Zedd are human, so they shouldn't be exploding like their destroyed minions, because killing them makes the heroic Power Rangers guilty of murder. This is especially true when you realize that the Mystic Force Power Rangers actually had Rita Repulsa herself serving as their Zordon-like mentor known as the Mystic Mother, so killing Rita Repulsa basically erases the Mystic Force Rangers out of existence & she wouldn't be too happy if her husband, formerly intergalactic conqueror Lord Zedd (before Rita & Rito's father Master Vile, the Machine Empire & Dark Specter overtook his position as the definitive "Big Bad"), was killed. So, really, although the evil power couple (Rita Repulsa + Lord Zedd) can be defeated, they cannot/shouldn't be killed, because it's inhumane & non-canon. If anything, they should just disappear & merely threaten to defeat the Power Rangers in the future (with Rita Repulsa complaining of a migraine ["I've got such a headache!"] & Lord Zedd yelling at the sheer incompetence of his followers, rather than blaming himself for losing), since they canonically cannot/shouldn't be killed.

@@firestrikerii810 Yes, true. Lord Zedd & Rita Repulsa were purified in-canon to their human form & Rita actually became the Mystic Mother to the Mystic Force Ranger team. Look up the definitive history on the MMPR villains (or just the videos exclusive to Lord Zedd & Rita Repulsa) for concrete proof.

One of the more realistic Power Rangers video games mashed together. Would’ve loved to see this version way back when. As an avid MMPR fan, this was fun to watch. You actually felt like one of the rangers while playing. It’s smoother for the most part. The Ninja suits would’ve been fun with the Tenga birds as well. Overall, this was a lot of nostalgia for the 90s kids.

That's because the makers recycled footage from the actual show, videogames & other avenues to get the OG cast's voices added in the right spots to make it seem like they did the voice work for the game. The only things missing are David Felding as Zordon & whomever did the voice work for Lord Zedd.

Awesome game, except that it should have covered all three seasons, and how they got the powers and Zords. Unmorphed battles should have been longer, and they should have included the Ultrazord, the Dragonzord in fighting mode and the Megatigerzord. Other than that it was awesome. TRULY AWESOME
