I remember playing TERA back in the days, there was a huge flying whale like this one in that game as well (maybe they got the inspiration from it since TERA was from NCSoft too) but riding the whale was something the players would ask to add for a decade, they never added it, so, being able to ride the flying whale in this game brings tears to my eyes, it re ignites my nostalgia in a way i can't describe.

Combat and UI are about as far from GW2 as you can get MMO wise. Exploration def feels similar but that’s about it. I wish more games would learn from GW2’s UI and combat. Feels so clean and polished

@@DanieliusGoriunovas As I head to endgame, it’s starting to seem less casual. In GW2 I like that ‘endgame’ is still exploring and adventuring around (because progression in horizontal). For T&L I’m starting to get the vibe that engame is dungeon/raiding, resource grinding to upgrade weap. and PvP… With the group PvP being a somewhat smaller World v. World type territory control system.

Guild Wars 2 is the cream of the crop when it comes to combat, UI, and stylized graphics. This game absolutely tops it on overall graphics and details and landscape though. Wish we could get a game that hits both marks

Aion, back in the day, was literally one of my favourite MMOs ever before this happened to it. Hope they don't repeat. I get why devs end up doing it but it's sad - no MMO that has moved to F2P microtransaction hell has ever flourished afterwards. Just die a slow, tragic death. Would honestly rather they just increase the subscription price by a few quid than add pay 2 win. I think most players probably wouldn't mind. Or just a shop where you can't buy anything at all that benefits you in game (mainly at cap). XP boosts n levelling stuff maybe ok.
