I've watched a lot of audits over the years and that is one of the most unprofessional officers I have seen on these videos. He broke many codes of conduct and did an illegal search, just to target and harass you. Your solicitors will be able to tear him apart and win your case against him. A copper says the weather is good you reply "is that so" a copper says "Do you understand?" you reply "I understand what the law says do you?". Remember they use everything against you so the less you say the better just let them dig their own hole and jump in you will have a stronger case afterwards when it comes to making the complaint. Also if you were flying the drone when they approached you, you should have told them that "I'm in command of an aircraft at the moment you realise that distracting me is against the law especially if it crashes because of you so you will have to wait until I land it before we speak" If they try to force you to speak while landing simply tell them "do you want this thing landing on your head knockin you out while you illegally distract me otherwise shut up"

Laser pens are not prohibited so don't fall into the category required for a section 1 search which is to look for stolen or prohibited items, and he is specifically looking for a laser pen only so I would say this search is unlawful. This is the same as using section 1 in order to search you specifically for a ball of string !

If they are used to point in someone's eye that can cause serious damage and is therefore an assault it which case it is used as an offensive weapon. It's logical isn't it, imagine if this is your partner or child and some person intentionally shines a laser in their eyes. He decided to search just ONE person .. a person he'd had police interaction with on a previous occasion ... and when there were many members of the public present. *If he was so concerned at this 'apparent' shining of a laser, he would have ensured that nobody in that group left the scene until they were ALL searched!* *He was therefore, clearly NOT concerned at all!* *Therefore, his search was only made to show Reggie that he was, IN CONTROL! .... What have our Police become? I thought I couldn't be more shocked after watching many auditor videos on KZbin and how our Police have sunk into a cesspit, but that officer was nothing more than a vile, rude, angry, bitter, childish thug with a vendetta, and she wasn't much better. Not only you Reggie, but the way he spoke to the other members of the public was nothing more than scandalous and he should be fired for it, but of course he won't. My only hope is this video goes viral and that he gets embarrassed by all the attention from this video, because of his vile, immature, outright nasty behaviour. If there are any decent colleagues at his station (I very much doubt it but I live in hope) then I pray they show him up for what he is - a thoroughly nasty piece of work and a vile bully - and they shun him. The pair of them don't know the laws they are meant to uphold either. The Police are broken and need reform top to bottom, they are utterly useless and have turned on the public they are meant to serve and protect, it's heart-breaking to see. When they are wrong, that's it. I recall, was a long time ago, was on patrol in N. IRELAND, 8 Soldiers and 1 Policeman. We were stopping cars etc. He decided to haress the driver, tyres are looking a bit iffy etc. I stepped in, told him We are not there to worry about tyres etc. Policeman wasn't happy. I got on my radio, told my boss, if he wants to do that shit I will leave him to it. Policeman wasn't best pleased. He calls his people, they tell him, if he wants the protection of 8 Soldiers, he better do what we were meant to do. Counter Terrorism, at the time. Pity camera's weren't a thing lol.

I believe this was an unlawful search. A laser pointer is not a prohibited article. He also didn’t follow the correct stop & search procedure. Before searching you he was required to give his name and the police station he’s attached to (you even asked for his name and he refused). I am currently watching the video at the 6:25 mark, a year later, and I had to take a break due to my frustration. The police officer in the video is incredibly arrogant, and ignorant, and behaves like a bully. It is unacceptable for someone like him to wear a uniform of the Crown and work in a job related to the public. I hope that Reggie took appropriate action against him. Not only for his own sake but for the sake of others. This officer is a liability, and the female officer with him didn't do anything to de-escalate the situation or advise her colleague that his actions were wrong.

That interaction was nothing short of a disgrace, the fact that you have encountered him previously is shocking as he is obviously aware you are filming him. Every organisation has a few bad apples, which reflects badly on the good ones which outweigh the bad, (hopefully). This video is like stepping back in time and is a clear example on how they undo years of great work that was done in knocking down barriers and building bridges... Shocking!. 😳.. He could have written out a search record a plain bit or paper and given it to you. It's just that he is really pissed off because he has been shown up for being a petulant kid.

There's not much you can do with Section 1 Pace if the officer is bent and fabricates reasonable grounds (In this case that you were the culprit)-I get the impression that this officer is no stranger to misconduct.

I once got dazzled by a police car travelling close behind me with their high beam on full! It lit my whole car up and I had to move my rear viewmirror to one side, I pulled over to let them pass but they also pulled in behind. I wasn't pulled over as such, or for any particular reason, it was purely to ask why I had pulled over. It was also made quite obvious they were fishing for any reason to justify the stop! Asking such things as had I been drinking etc checking my details re insurance, MOT etc I don't drink and drive and the accusation was personally insulting so I told the officer why I had pulled over, told them because they were driving behind me closely with their high beam on. They reacted with an immediate no we weren't, I just told them straight they had dazzled me, late at night driving down an unlit road and it had caused me some glaring in my vision so I had pulled over to let my eyes recover! They were so rude and dismissive and kept trying to fish for something I'd done wrong or something I was doing illegally etc Until I asked them to check their car headlights to see if they were in fact on full beam. Reluctantly they went to check and I heard them radio in telling control that they had in fact dazzled me with their high beam! They were extremely apologetic and drove off almost embarrassed by such a stupid thing to do, they could have caused an accident!

Same as me, dazzled by police car headlights behind me on main beam , they pulled me because I was driving erratically. Ironically caused by their headlights........ Yes, any excuse for a pull. 😳
