I still don’t think anything will change. The authorities had to come up with something drastic and they did that to please the public and to show them they are working and have their eyes on the cricketing structure but sadly things are beyond repair for them. And I will tell you why, these toxic fan bases that these players have managed to make will keep pumping them with false sense of pride and I doubt Pakistan management has the guts in them to throw players out of national team by virtue of their poor performances. Pakistan cricket team will not stay relevant in international cricket until they get rid of these PR teams and fan groups of these individual players and until their players can get rid of this pathetic division within the team.

For Pakistan cricket to improve, the PCB needs to invest heavily in domestic cricket. They should move away from T20 cricket, which has negatively affected the players’ mindsets. Additionally, removing Wahab Riaz as a selector would be beneficial. His selection of five openers and three unfit middle-order players, all with poor performance and fitness, was disastrous and reflected poorly in T20 matches. However, it is crucial not to remove key players from the Test side, as this would be a mistake, especially when important points for the World Test Championship are at stake. The poor results in T20 should not be mixed with the other two formats. There is no need to panic because of the disappointing T20 performances. Give the new coach a chance to build his team for the 50-over format, as I am convinced that Pakistan has plenty of good players, provided the right ones are selected for the Champions Trophy. Additionally, consider giving Mohammad Rizwan the captaincy role in the 50-over format, as he is smart and sharp-minded.
