PCB meeting | Younis Khan appointed as Chief Selector | Malik Waseem also participated
Pakistan's PCB Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, held a significant meeting attended by former players Younis Khan, Wasim Akram, Shoaib Malik, and Misbah-ul-Haq. Each of the former players provided their own advice to Mohsin Naqvi.
Younis Khan suggested that domestic players should be given opportunities as they can deliver excellent results for the Pakistan team. Shoaib Malik advised that players who performed poorly in the 2024 T20 World Cup should be dropped from the Pakistan team and sent back to domestic cricket.
Wasim Akram also offered valuable advice, stating that a captain should be appointed for at least three years. He believed that such stability would make the Pakistan team stronger and capable of competing with any team in the world

Yunus Khan was a very fine player.But he is one of the most emotionally unstable player. His moods swings on weekly basis. Pakistan team comprises 85% from Punjab & they have full capacity to upset Yonus even on pettiest matters. Misbah will further deface Pak cricket bcoz he covers up every thing with religious get up. No back up good players.
