Wouldn't it just be easier to use a piece of 26 guage wire (or smaller depending on trace size) and just scrap the mask away and just bridge the two points that are messed up with a wire. I have done that and haven't had a problem.

I guess this is a decent tutorial, if you really need a tidy repair not adding a single bit of excess signal length - but aren't you supposed to just dap with unsoldering wick and the iron, rather than wipe? Puts additional stress on an already exposed/damaged trace.

I bought a cheap mini quadcopter which uses the ciruitboard as frame for the motors. One edge already has a motor failing. It only works when I twist the board gently. I'm guessing the trace is damaged and can be repaired in a similar fashion as presented in this video. I'm just not sure I isolated the real problem. Do you guys think it's probable the trace is faulty?

Hans Meier I checked those and re-did the supposed faulty one, but it didn't help. I put the quad in the cellar and that's that.

I remove the socket. I forced PCD saw damage. copper was removed under. I do not know their names. a band in your hands. You cut him before. After you tape on PCD. Where can I buy it. What is the name. They like it round copper on PCD. What is their name. Please half ruckus.
