I love the Orlando Informer meet ups.I love being able to try so many food items with the cost already included in the ticket price,especially being able to try all the types of butterbeer drinks 🍺.I love having the chance to ride the Pteranodon Flyers,without having to be accompanied by a child, lol.I love how empty the parks are during this time,very little time waiting in line,like having an Express Express pass and in my opinion the ticket price for all this is very reasonable.Thank you Dev❤️

Great video Dev. After watching this video as well as other you share, I thought of the cast members and vendors that work there. You are one vlogger who always acknowledges the workers( not that others don't ) but you seem to do it more. Would you be able to do a Vendor Vlog , where you interview some of the vendors and facilities, those who , handle mechanics like driving the floats. Maybe a few min interview with them would be interesting. Just to see or hear about some interesting parts to their job. 🌺🧡 Thank you for sharing and thank you in advance.

Great vlog as always Dev. After sleeping on this idea and researching it more, I think it would be difficult to eat that much food that late and mix in a bunch of roller coasters and thrill rides. Since the best value is to purchase the 2-day pass, I would probably spend Friday eating around the parks & Saturday mostly riding all of the rides ( multiple times). It certainly is a fantastic way to visit both parks and not have to deal with large crowds and long wait times.

So glad you finally went to this! My mom and I went last year for the November meet up and it was the best experience, it's the only way we'll go to the parks now. You also get half off the hotels next to Universal during their weekend. We will be going next November!

I see you mentioned a few times that the price is for both nights. We went on December 3 and bought one night only tickets. You could buy single night tickets or buy both nights, but it wasn’t the same price to go on both nights, it was more expensive to do both. It was our first meet up as well and we’re premiere pass holders so I never thought I needed to buy this event. I was sold on it when we went and had no crowds. We walked on Velocicoaster and only waited for Hagrid’s. Everything was a walk on that night and the apple pie at The Three Broomsticks was life changing.

Glad you finally got to attend one of these events. I went last June 2021, it was my first, and hope to get back again next year. It is. It is truly a great event being able to ride so many rides with hardly any lines and having tons of fabulous food for free. It was fantastic. So glad you enjoyed it.

It’s the best deal for going and the only time of the year we go to Universal. Having both parks with light crowds and lots of great food and drinks. Even the adult beverages that are offered have great prices. Stoked you got to experience it! Merry Christmas dude!

I have been to several OI Meet ups. The people are always super nice and helpful. It is a great way to experience the parks when your disability get worse in crowds. Also you can enjoy the park at a much nicer pace too. Plus my friend goes several times a year to OI's event at Universal Studios.

Got tickets this week to my first Informer meetup thanks to your great video Dev. Otherwise I would have never known about this great event. Also took advantage of the related hotel discounts. I got in the opening day queues for both. At times it seemed like the queue wasn’t working, but I got into both and made my purchases about 30 minutes after they went live. Event tickets are still available days after going on sale, but the discount rooms went pretty quickly. The most expensive rooms sold out first. I gave you the “how did you hear about us” referral, so look for your free invite to one of the upcoming Adults Only Mini Meetups, with the elevated food experience. How else will we know how it compares? Right OI? Hello?

I’ve been going to this event in December what I do at 5 is watch the shows example grinch or the parade then get started on some rides and keep riding rides after the event starts then just eat when I’m done and the $15 gift card they give you never expires you can use them out the parks I usually save mine then I hit up Voodoo Donuts at a later day and for the event you can purchase either Friday or Saturday or buy both

We love the meet ups. No crowds, free food/drinks, don't have to get express passes, and the hotels are discounted. Because the hours are so late I always suggest to people to arrive the day before the event and leave late the day after. During the day, stay at the hotel and enjoy the pool or sleep in then hit the parks at 5. I highly recommend doing both days. Since we live up north we focus more on the rides instead of the food. But it's great to just eat or snack free! It's a great event and OI was quick to answer texts or emails.

I went last winter, just before thanksgiving- you guys missed the macys parade and the killer food at thunder falls. The key lime cheesecake is to die for. And pro tip for next time- stay out of hogsmeade and diagon alley till later in the night and what little lines there are will disappear.

Most fantastic tip offered by PCDev to a OI meetup veteran: All this time we never knew that you could get drinks at the self serve kiosks. This allows us to get an iced drink and only get what we can drink at the moment without waste.

I went last week and had the best time! Everything (but Hagrid's) was walk on. Rode some twice in a row! Absolutely stuffed ourselves. My daughter had so much Butterbeer I had to make her stop. 😆

I was there Friday and Sat. As always my sis and I enjoyed ourselves, but received push back with the attitudes of some team members that clearly didn't like when we would ask for something that had not been sitting out like milkshakes and ice cream. Just like Disney they have made changes as well. I've been to 6 of these and since first going they reduced the eating time frames and reduced offerings but have given a few different ones to offer variety. All in all I still enjoy it because it's a low crowd event but the price hike and reduced quality made me sad this time around

I’m really glad your experience was much better than mine and my husbands back in 2021. I’m not sure what happened but universal did NOT do a very good job clearing the parks. There were a ton of veteran Orlando informer guests that were complaining as well as us first timers. I actually took my phone out and recorded conversations of day guests talking about how no one has asked them for any proof they had tickets, it was cold everyone had jackets hats etc, but they were getting free food, laughing about riding the rides and let me just tell you Hagrids was over an hour and a half wait the ENTIRE night. We were very disappointed because we LOVE parks at night it’s just so beautiful and we were looking forward to the first time riding Hagrids at night, when we spoke to a few other guests and employees they all agreed that something went wrong. As we were walking back to the portofino we had a group of 10 twenty something year old yelling about how awesome it was that no one caught them and they were already telling all their friends the trick to staying in the park and blending in with the event guests. I’m willing to give them one more chance to see if it’s changed, which from the sound of your video and experience they have absolutely fixed the problem, but now I need to convince my husband lol. Thanks for all your updates and REAL HONEST opinions for all the parks. We ❤ you and your family

Although it is so nice to be able to do the rides with out hardly any wait, I must say having the park empty its a bit boring, I like to see people around, seeing the people smile, kids running around full of happiness and all that is part of the fun and the vacation spirit. I've been to 2 meet ups, Dec 2021 and Dec 2022! They are absolutely amazing and worth every penny. I'm already planning my 3rd meet up. Also, the fact that we get to stay at Hard Rock Hotel or Royal Pacific Hotel or any other Universal hotels at a discounted rate is amazing. I will definitely be going to lots more in the future!

Most extreme disappointment of the OI meetup this year was the demise of the rib entrée at the Terrace Restaurant. We talked about having those ribs for months. Most impressive employees: The artist making brisket crepes at Central Park (Dec 2-3). The line was long but his skill made it enjoyable. Also, the bus employees at the Terrace Restaurant kept everything clean and orderly. Most extreme enjoyment: Bringing a couple along with us that have NEVER even been to a carnival. We lived vicariously through their enjoyment.
