PCE Turbo Chip Madness

Show and tell time with my Hucard/Turbochip collection. This is a 10 year update of sorts, of how I collect and store this part of my videogame collection.

Dragon Saber rocks. Namco made a ton of amaing shooters. I really like Ordyne from them. Awesome video.

Dragon Sabre is freaking awesome. Definitely a great sequel. Ever since you made the video all those years ago, I did the same with my hucards! Have a mtg hard cover binder filled with Turbo/PCE games. I also used the ultra pro sleeves. Ive seen the dragon shield sleeves for few years at my local card/game store but never bought any. I'm up to 77 hucards I believe. Amazing system. I'd still like to put them in hard case to sit with my tg16/pce cd games. Was eyeing the Nintendo Switch cases since they have a tab that holds the hucard perfectly. 3DS cases might work as well. Awesome share sir.

That's rad. I was looking at different binders before grabbung these new sleeves. There are definitely some very luxe ones on the market now, but can't abandon my orange one now. Ive got a couple more pages to fill in this one still.

Thanks for the card sleeve tip! I replaced my gummy plastic sleeves with some paper business card envelopes but I don’t care for the look of them. Gonna try an Amazon equivalent of these. Thanks, I was excited to see a new video pop up!

@ChopstickSamurai glad you digged it. Keeps the games very clean. By design they prevent air and moisture. Also I would imagine wont hurt the label as I cant imagine a magic player using them if it were otherwise.

@@THELEGENDARYK2 I got my Amazon sleeves and they look and work amazing. Acid free and all that. 😄 I also had no idea Japanese cards were differently sized too. Thanks again!

You can also buy reproductions of the original clear sleeves.

@ecco222 no doubt, but these card sleeves are more cost efficient and I bet made to a higher standard. Magic players are extremely picky.

The "can't remember" game was Peach Boy if memory serves me correctly. Nintendo Switch carts and their next console are probably the last physical media console we are going to get. Hopefully those little carts last like the carts of old.

I like the Switch very much, but I wish the for it carts were larger. The Hucard is just the right size. And I argue that if they can fit a switch game on a tiny cartridge they could easily fit a PS5 game on a hucard.
