Cure pressure is normally 15 to 30 bar and the product in this video was performed at 30 bar. The Material is heated only in Preform step, then the mold is heated to 150℃ and molded for 3 minutes in curing step.

Great video, very informative. Whats the benefit of preforming? Couldnt you just place the stacks in the heated mould?

It’s what they did, the last part it says curing, i think it prevents the mold from twisting as it cools down.

我猜测，通过增加预先成型的工序后，成型模具就不需要经过冷却和精确的定位了。这也是他们只需要3min就可以完成固化的原因吧，因为减少了升温和降温的过程。

So after press is ready to use? no cure need? just 3 min? What resin is that if only need 3min, must have some drwbacks. The PCM is hot? This try in my mind what Elon Musk is making with the new aluminium alloy.

The prepreg was cured at 150C, 3~5min by hot press after preforming. If it is for appearance part, need to do clear coating after grinding.
