My microphone completely stopped working, so I tried this, and it worked perfectly. For months now I had to keep my phone on speaker because I couldn’t hear otherwise, but this also allowed me now to be able to hear when my phone is not on speaker. Thank you so much.

The bottom grilles consist of one speaker and one microphone. Second speaker doubles as the earpiece at the top edge of the screen.

My cell phone speakers sounded as if they had something blocking the sound, really annoying and was hard to hear anything, specially outdoor. I used a camera sensor cleaner, it already comes with a soft brush and air blower and it fix my issue!!. thanx.

Rubbing alcohol should be fine as long as it is >90% since it isn’t conductive. Unless it would damage adhesives or other non-electric parts?

Even if isopropyl alcohol evaporates quickly, I wouldn’t use it on an iphone that’s not already been opened up (just use it on the outside chassis)
