Q: The diagnostic test says my HDD is not installed or to check cables?
A: That means your HDD may be loose or bad. Try 'Reseating' the HDD first as seen here in this video. Try the diagnostic test again. If it fails to change the scan, I would then replace the HDD and install an Operating System to the new one. You can see how to do that here;

Q: I cannot access the diagnostic test and the other steps didnt help.
A: If you cannot access the diagnostic test, then we dont know if your Hard Drive (HDD) is healthy. We can then proceed, assuming it is. If the other steps in this video do not help, I would then try to reinstall the Operating System (OS).

Q: What if my HDD fails the test?

Thanks sir. Mine delays on black screen about 5mins before booting up to windows 11. I don't know the cause of that. Someone told me it's the RAM, I've changed the RAM still same delay before boot up.

1. You can get into BIOS but neither your computer keyboard works nor your external keyboard? You may have to replace the keyboard as sometimes, BIOS will not recognize an external keyboard. 2. Are you able to run the diagnostic test?

Switched my Sata and it wiped my whole pc. Now on boot it does a back screen with white underscore top left. Ordered a usb and will attempt to load it up with the usb windows recovery method. Will check back tomorrow with an update. Wish me luck

@@PC_Monkey I was in BIOS ez tuning wizard. Switched from AHCI to RAID for my HDD/SSD and it did give me a warning saying it could cause boot failure and system to not be recoverable but I didn’t think about it.since that Every time I go to boot up I get a black screen with a white underscore top left. All I can get into is bios for right now. It will NOT boot windows. My drivers still show up in bios but I guess they were erased I hope not corrupt. Still waiting on usb to see if that windows usb trick works.

An overheating computer can be damaging multiple different components if not resolved. First, make sure that the fan and vents are clean and clear. If you need help accessing the fan, let me know what brand and model computer you have and I can help you get inside it. If that does not fix the overheating issue, then try replacing the thermal paste on the CPU and if needed, the GPU as seen here; kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZDNZXqGn9WUrc0. If that fails too, replace the CPU

@@PC_Monkey it's an HP Pavilion 13 x2 PC. I was able to open it. There are times when I tried to click the power button, the fan is running, it's hot, but the screen is still black. Yeah, for now I don't have a replacement for the cpu. I already tried the number 1. It didn't work for my laptop, sadly. I'll watch the videos you recommended.
