This helped me, changed the system date in the BIOS and no more boot loop. Will see how it runs tomorrow but it is promising. I was living with this problem for so long, feared it had something to do with the batteries and was afraid of opening up my device and accidentally damaging it.

Hi Jamin. I have a HP elitebook that is bootlooping. I have tried to get into the startup menu as you have suggested but the loop is shutting down the laptop before this can happen. Any other ideas? I have taken battery out and held the power button. I have tried replacing the hard drive for another. Reseated the RAM. I'm stumped

I can't access either the BIOS or diagnostic test options. This is my son's laptop so I am not entirely certain. he says that it was working fine, he put it on his desk over night and then tried turning it on in the morning and it was doing this. @@PC_Monkey

I’m stuck with a preparing automatic repair, which later after a while changes to a black screen. I’m stuck at that. Also after forcing shut down, it becomes stuck on the loading. (Razer white logo with spinning loading at the button.)

@PC_Monkey I have the new Razer Blade 18 2023 edition. The display refuses to turn on, I have not tried to use an external or to reboot it in bios. What can I do right now to troubleshoot it

If the screen is black, what are the signs that the computer is actually turning on? Any motherboard or HDD sounds, fan, etc? Also, did anything happen before this issue appeared? Overheating, liquid spill, Windows update, etc?

@@PC_Monkey a 15 second power hold shows signs of life with a white LED where my battery indicator is normally green… This happened after a session of me, playing Diablo 4 and it froze

The fans work too, the infrared light turns on and recognized my face instantaneously. I truly feel like this is just a display output issue

So my computer is still under warranty so I’d like not to touch the internal components too much, however I have a flash drive with windows 11 on it. My razer is starting and getting to the option screen but it freezes right after

Hey, i have a problem with my razer blade 15 2019 base, same like yours i think. Mine is stuck on the boot screen and i can't access bios, can't boot from no external ssd/usb, tried with external keyboard and it didn't work. Changed the ssd, changed the ram, unplugged the cmos, what else can i try? Thanks

The external keyboard does not allow you to boot to BIOS or boot from USB either? Also, did anything happen before this issue appeared? Overheating, liquid spill, Windows update, etc?

@PC_Monkey nothing, no damage at all, and yes, the keyboard doesn't let me access bios or boot from usb. I tried a different ssd, and it didn't change a thing, different ram also

@@cristis1619 If your laptop keyboard is not working and if the external keyboard does not even work to allow you to access BIOS or boot up, your may be looking at a motherboard issue :( I would have to examine computer more :(

@@PC_MonkeyI do have a Razer. I can see the logo in the center and on the top left corner I see options like Press F12 for Boot Menu, Press F1/Del for BIOS Setup, Press F9 for Recovery Menu. No spills or falls. The only thing I can think of is a windows update although it was not immediately before this issue. Maybe a few weeks prior.

Alreadt fix the issue when i clone my ssd drive from other razer laptop. Hehe. But the only remaining issue has a track pad wont click but the track sensor is still ok. Only clicking the touchpad. Any help? Tnx

I solve the issue when i change my ssd into new with windows 10 format, maybe my old stock ssd was already faulty thats why my click on trackpad no clicking.

@@PC_Monkey thank for your reply As soon as I press power the insignia and top right hand Menus appear but that’s it…I’ve tried pressing’s the “F keys associated with the commands. But they won’t initiate ,it could be a Security update ,I’ve updated to Windows 11 and a couple of security updates…..I dropped it once ,but worked fine after that…is the a tutorial on how to add or remove components from a Razor 15 maybe if I removed and reinstalled the ssd it may resolve the issue

⁠I also need help. I have razer blade 15 laptop and I used to have a bios password. I fixed it eventually by leaving the new password blank and uninstalled it but every time I boot up my laptop it shows the razer logo and shuts off and does this 3 times on its own without pressing anything and then the screen is just black but the keyboard is still on. I can still access my bios by f12 from the boot menu where all the usb drives are installed at. I can’t go into recovery mode f9 and it does the same thing with showing the razer logo and shuts off for 3 times with the keyboard still lighting up but no display showing. Just plain black. This happened from my resetting this pc but my power supply was unplugged. Please respond 🙏

@@jeylankeo4033 You reset your computer but your power supply was unplugged. Does that mean that the computer lost power in the middle of the reset?

My charger was unplugged when I started the process and died later in the middle of the reset.

@@jeylankeo4033 Usually, when a computer loses power in the middle of a reset, the OS gets damaged and then needs to be reinstalled. Have you tried reinstalling Windows?
