Get rid of the 3.5 Drive Cage for more Cablemanagmentroom and i would plug the EPS Cable in before i install the MB because with a Cooler like my Dark Rock Pro4 it's a Pain in the But to reach the Plug if you have greater Handsize. But after a few Blood Sacrifices it worked out. Hail the PC God ;-)

Could you explain this further please, 1:27.. Why exactly the second and fourth slot?
@nineball0396 жыл бұрын
The motherboard manual will explain which two slots are optimal for two DIMM's. The second and fourth slots are a common design among mobo manufacturers but always read the manual first! More: all modern mobo's will run two DIMM's in dual channel mode (in lay terms - it's faster) if the two correct slots are used. In this instance, slots 2 and 4 are dual channel as are slots 1 and 3 if using four DIMM's.

Great help, thank you. I was just wondering if my suspicion is correct, that you shouldn't (or even can't) put 3 fans at the front while also keeping the 3.5" holder at the bottom, because then the PSU cables have to turn sharply as soon as they leave the PSU, and that makes me nervous. Seems like if you want both the PSU and 3.5" box to be comfortable you should omit the 3rd (bottom) front fan 🤔
@ithertzz5 жыл бұрын
GlacialImpala I've been looking for this too but I've seen it done in build photos. You can slide the HDD tray closer towards the PSU and remove the basement cover to fit the bottom fan. Makes it tight but it should fit. My meshify C will be arriving in a couple of days.

Love the new cryorig connecting system, lightyears better than the old method. Got the Quad Lumi just as a giggle and man that thing keeps my system cool as well as the old Hyper 212, granted I only have very minor OC's on the cpu just to round it up. If you like RGB that Quad Lumi does a really good ambient effect and adds very good bling to the MoBo area but doesn't over kill it. If not the regular H7 is basically the same thing with no RGB and is a solid Air cooling choice for those not blowing up their cpu's with High OC's.

Airflow is pretty good. I only have 3 fans running right now. 2 on the radiator(H100i) and 1 exhaust(waiting on extensions for the others). Even with positive airflow, I'm sitting idle at about 30-33C. At load, gaming, I'm sitting at about 55-60C while GPU(Strix 970) at about 60C.

So now im asking myself since im not a pro... do you need those two extra fans? Arent the two fans that are already installed enough?
@nineball0396 жыл бұрын
One intake and one exhaust fan is probably enough. I prefer a positive pressure design - pushing air instead of pulling it - which in this instance, a second intake fan would provide. If you are running negative pressure - pulling air out of the case instead of pushing it you will see the results of dust buildup on the seams of the case. There are terabytes of discussions/arguments on the internet about negative vs positive pressure designs!
@vincent56136 жыл бұрын
Thanks man. I just dont want my Hardware to die from overheating so Im gonna be fine with whatever just works. It doesnt have to be the perfect design.
@nineball0396 жыл бұрын
lol - a typical case fan costs $6-$8, comes with mounting screws, connector cable and will plug right into your motherboard! Good luck.

Alright so ill just get some extra ones and install them on the front.
@nineball0396 жыл бұрын
Just a quick note (without meaning to sound insulting): on the side of the fan will be a small arrow indicating the airflow direction. For a front intake fan, you want the air blowing inwards. You can check the airflow direction with a piece of paper once the fan is powered up.
