@qq312qq7 жыл бұрын
Looks like you don't understand why Fractal go smalling this case little bit. That second fan space you talking about most of the people don't use like your self actually unnecessarly making the cases longer. Loks like Fractal spot that needless space make case much more small and compact. Also you don't need to pop off all front panel to clean the mesh. Watch HardwareCanucks video how easly take off that front mesh panel.

Thanks so much for this review. I purchased the meshify c based on it and this is a brilliant case. I had a case that was roughly the same size but the airflow was awful. This case dropped the temp by 10-12 c and after doing some tweaking as well i got the new fans to be very quiet even when hitting higher temps. This is a really nice looking but also super cool case.

Your gpu issues are kind of mute here. This case was clearly designed for air cooling in mind. Yes it supports AIOs and custom water cooling, but yeah I don’t think it’s fair to hark on it because it can’t fit a “non reference ” graphics card when it could easily if you were rocking air cooling vs aio/custom cooling.
@RedNeck_Zeus4 жыл бұрын
2 years later and the Meshify c is still may favorite case on the market. now I just can't wait for an updated model. All it needs is the updated front io, the new tg panel mounting system which is now standard on fractal cases, and if possible a slightly more modular power supply basement. I don't care if nothing else changes as long as I get those few things. Edit: Maybe since it is such a compact case it might also be a good idea to bring back the old exterior grommets for routing of tubing to external water cooling hardware.

I currently own Fractal's Define R5 (Windowed) and love it! But cheaper, smaller looking, tempered glass cases are really annoying (In a good way?) being as though I spent $120 on my case......Edit: Ha! I just realized I answered my own question. 😅 I was trying to decide between: Current Case: ($120) 22.69 lbs. Acrylic, Sound Dampening Foam, Fan Controller, Removable ODD Drive Bay. NZXT's S340 Elite ($100) 17.92 lbs. Glass, Front Panel HDMI. Fractal's Define C TG ($95) 14.99.lbs Glass. Phanteks Eclipse P400S ($80). 15.40 lbs. Glass, Sound Dampening Foam, Magnetic Dust Filters, Fan Controller, RGB LED Controller. *WINNER!* I wanted a new case cause I'll be getting an HTC Vive pretty soon and plan on showing it off to friends/family and didn't want to lug this heavy ass case around. The S340 Elite does have a front panel HDMI port which is perfect for connectivity but the Eclipse has more features geared towards my taste.....mainly looks. Thing is....I don't *need* a new case, I'm just jelly😥. It'll be better if I just mod my R5 (PSU Shroud, Glass Side Panel) Then, it'll be even heavier....smfh! Now that I think about, buying the P400S would probably be cheaper than me trying to mod my case and remove the chance of my f*cking it up / it looking like shit lol. Oh Look At That! "Phanteks P400S TGE vs. NZXT S340 Elite" Thanks Greg! Wow, and I paid $60 for NZXT's HUE! 🤐

Great case, I did my R5 build in it. I had such a great time building inside this case. The only thing is that a full size psu gets a bit cramped with the drive cages installed. I have a seasonic focus plus 750 gold which is 20 mm shorter, with that room i was able to stuff my cables in there. I also have two 140 mm fans in the front with a 240 rad on top. Its a bit tight, but everything fit with a MSI x370 gaming pro carbon. My 140 mm fans are white LED makes the front mesh stand out in the dark, love it!
You can pop off that front mesh without removing the whole front panel. Once the bottom filter is pulled out, put your fingers up in the slot and push outward towards yourself.

I bought the Fractal Meshify Mini C and installed my hardware into it yesterday. I switched to this from the Define Mini C. (Non TG). Build experience, both cases are the same. Only thing that is a little annoying is the front panel on the Meshify Mini c that has IO cables attached to it but I can get past that. I love the dark tinted TG and this is my first TG case and super happy with it. Since the Meshify Mini C only comes with a top mesh filter. I took this off and installed the moduvent panel from my Define Mini C as the top filter cutout dimensions are the same. The Meshify C comes with a right side panel that has no sound dampening material that was previously included on my Define Mini C. Both panels are the same dimensions so I've also swapped this. My colour scheme inside of the same is Black/White. I have white cables, fans and expansion brackets. Once again, I removed the white brackets from my Define Mini C as I think it adds that little bit of extra consistency with the theme. I have 2 x 120mm Silent Wings 3 at the front and 1 x Fractal design GP-12 (120mm white fan) at the back exhaust. My CPU cooler is the Cryorig H7 as this fits perfectly with the Black/White colour scheme and is a brilliant performer for the price. Finally to top it all off, I have 1 x cooler master led bar installed at the front of the top of the case which gives a nice white glow. The bar is very bright with non tinted panels so I'm glad the panel on the Meshify Mini C is so dark as it gives a very tasteful pure white glow that isn't overpowering.

When you remove the front panel you can actually do it easier without taking off the whole face plate if that makes sense. After you remove the bottom air filter if you put your fingers in that opening between the bottom of the shell and the mesh face plate you can pop it out that way and its just removing the air filter on the front so you dont have to worry about the cables. Hope that helps/makes sense there is a few videos online showing it though.
