PCT 2023 - Episode 4: Embrace the Suck

Whoo hoo! I've made 4 videos already! When I first thought of the idea of making vlogs for the PCT I wasn't sure how well I would keep up with it so I'm proud of myself for making it this far. It's been easier to do on trail than I expected. One of these days I'll remember to film an ending so they don't finish so abruptly 🙃

No I have a black diamond headlamp as well. But the one attached to my beanie comes in handy every night when I have to get up to pee because I'm already wearing it.

Record snow in 2023. Hikers will probably want to stall at Kennedy Meadows and wait for the melt, but snow bridges should be safe for morning cross to mid-May. Warm afternoon temperatures north of Tuolumne Meadows could wet. Plan to hike out east over the passes for warm zeros. Being in the snow you can carry real butter and cheese for calories. YOLO
