South Sister mountain is gorgeous, followed by Midfle Sister and North Sister. When it’s not smoky or rainy. Then Three Fingered Jack. It’s spectacular…when you aren’t being eaten alive by bugs. But at least you have plenty to drink. lol. Thanks for sharing your adventures. I just love the meadows framed by woods and snowcapped peaks. Glad you got to camp with a friend. The Mountain house spaghetti is a decent meal. Smart to not do the lava fields in the afternoon. I know you enjoyed Bend. Look forward to your continuing adventures.

The mosquitos are annoying. Once we left the lights on and the screen door open in a Minnesota farmhouse and left for dinner. When we got back from dinner thousands of mosquitos got inside, attracted by the inside lights. Clouds were flying around inside around the lamps - we literally could not sleep there that night.
