If we know it’s just one water crossing, we’re wearing the camp shoes! Multiple water crossings (like the Sierra) we’re keeping the trail runners on.

The Lewis river is a very cold mountain creek where you crossed it. Down stream in Vancouver we swam in the river where it widens and there is a little delta. I felt your pain crossing it cuz I know how cold that river is. Look forward to your adventures in the goat rocks wilderness and cispus pass and knifes edge etc
