"Lucy for scale" lol. That's a massive tree. Keep having fun and focusing on the good times.

Just changing you hiking style with heat. Your right get up hiking early in the morning and take 2-4 hours break in mid day. Your look happier. Thanks for sharing

Jessie, it’s so cool to see you out hiking again! That area you are hiking in is just so beautiful. You mentioned that it’s hot outside during the day. I wonder if you have a thermometer with you to measure just how hot it is. A nighttime low of sixty-something degrees sounds pretty comfortable. Down here in Texas, I work outside daily in temperatures averaging 100 degrees. We’re lucky if the night time lows are below eighty degrees. Happy Trails!

I went through that section the day before y'all and it sure was hot! Definitely a lot more exposed bits than I expected. Stopping midday was smart, I should've done that 🤦♀

Good video with lots of beautiful views, nice water fall, that was a old old big tree, maybe a redwood 😮, so let's keep on hiking 😊

I would be in that creek at every chance I got. I also carry a bandana and keep it wet and around my neck.
