In this video, I look at a new research paper published investigating whether a PCT (Post Cycle Therapy) helps with recovery from a steroid cycle. Yes var is kidney toxic and therefor should be carefully cycled regardless of dosage. The kidneys do not really regenerate the way that the liver and other organs.

​@NicholasDowney, Thank you for posting the research for us I love hcg on cycle and a little after and low dose Nolvadex in the oastvid crash my e2 but I have found that the htpa will over react when e2 even goes slightly low... also did the test prop 50mg experiment and lh and testosterone was higher than before 🫡💪

Cool suggestion regarding hcg at end of cycle Btw have heard hcg can take a long time to reach results for people who've been on aas for a long time (regarding fertility). Some of the protocols ive seen are also quite extreme, like the "power pct" by some US md, thousands of iu of hcg per week for about a month or 2-3 weeks or so with clomid and nolvadex then tapering clomid then nolvadex... Nolvadex for like 90 days total. I think those dosages of hcg are dubious for most people. Not sure what you think.

If you don’t want to crash hard after a steroid cycle, do a PCT. Very simple. You’ll feel much better doing a pct than not doing one. Ask me how I know.

I have 2 questions. Is clomid harmful when used for a long time? I remember your older video and you said that recovery happens either way. However, wouldn't that prolonged PCT period help you maintain gains? Because if you're not taking anything you're left with very low T levels until you recover naturally, right? Upd: Nvm, got to that video part by now haha. Still, I'd rather take PCT

I ran sustanon 250 a few times with no PCT and honesty I kept a lot of my gains and my testosterone levels recovered to normal levels.

Doc I got a question? For a first cycle do you recommend Test C only or would it be okay to do Test C for say 8 weeks, then introduce a compound like primo for another 12weeks. So in total 20 weeks, maybe even go 24 weeks, the last 4 weeks introduce anavar to the primo/test

Maybe video about hmg? I heard taking hcg for 1, 1/2 week then Hmg for 1/2 week and then clomid is a good approach as Hmg doesn’t suppress as hcg. What do you think about this?

Ho Nicholas. Can i ask you a question. Ive heard you talking about nolva or enclomiphene during an anavar or winstrol only cycle before. Would it help to take nolvadex during my winstrol anavar only cycle. To sustain some of the endogenous testosterone and thereby estrogen? Thanks so much

@@nickps2251 clomid + nolvadex. Unnaturally high androgens just overwhelm the HPTA of your brain (HP) and don’t really recover. This is the story for everyone I’ve known who’s taken AAS. Maybe a few cycles you can get past but it’s not sustainable.

I have to say I stopped my 8 week cycle of testosterone cypionate 400mg/week in November and 2 weeks later I felt horrible. Did not do a pct since I did not know about it. Although it’s been about 2 months now and I am starting to feel a little better. Should I still consider a pct? Or will my natural testosterone come back soon eventually?

Some of the time you can kinda discount as you used t cyp and a decent dosage so it probably took a while before it all cleared. I've seen studies saying at 6months most people are fine as far as parameters. If you are young and don't need the steroids for anything but wellbeing...maybe you care about fertility...then id give it a bit more time than 2 months. But consider endocrinologist visit for potential serm or hcg to get things going.
