During my first cycles I had to use beta blockers because my blood pressure went too high BUT, I've noticed that what cause blood pressure is mostly the blood that becomes too thick. Now I give my blood a lot when cycling (and supplement with iron zinc etc to compensate the lost of micronutrients) and I has solved all the blood pressure issues.

I read this study a while ago, very fascinating stuff! I used to believe clen increases size directly through its adrenergic properties by increasing strength, but apparently it's not even the adrenergic agonism but the beta arrestin part of the equation. I wonder whether trying carvedilol is worth it for me, since clen works really well, altho idk whether that's just the adrenergic properties. However, clen makes me stronger instantly and shreds me up very well.. (I minimize use due to sides) On the other hand I don't understand beta arrestins much at all tho. Only function of them I am familiar with is g coupled receptor tolerance development like with kratom (only g coupled receptors) vs regular MOR agonists like oxycodone. (recruits beta arrestin as well which leads to faster tolerance/more sides in this context) Have you tried Carvedilol? How strong is its blood lowering effect roughly compared to Telmisartan or Nebivolol?

I’m sure the adrenergic signalling dose help with clen’s anabolic ability. I would argue it’s more anabolic than Carvedilol. I have tried pretty much all beta blockers, I must say I enjoy Carvedilol, similar effects that Nebivolol has on blood pressure but gives me pumps in the gym

I've been on cardivlol for over 10 years. I spend 2 hours a day training. I've never noticed any negative side effects. My Dr. Started me on a low dose, then gradually got me to 25mg twice a day. It's one of those drugs that can kill u, If u start at maximum, recommend dose.

I was on Bisoprolol 5 mg (no significant side effects or maybe I got used to them) for many years, heard about Nebivolol and could convince my doc to prescribe it to me instead (almost same cheap price thanks to German health insurance). Will start tomorrow, 5mg. Would you think it's still a bit better than this Carvedilol or about the same, especially for someone who's working out at the gym very intensely for 3-4 times/a week (I would call it bodybuilding)? I should add I'm on TRT, so the potential muscle building effects probably are not significant in my case.

Hi Dr. Nick, My PCP prescribed Toprol-XL for high blood pressure. I took 12.5 mg in the morning and discontinued due to extreme fatigue/mental exhaustion. My PCP recommended trying Carvedilol as a substitute. Have you found one BB to have fewer mental side effects than others? I am pretty sensitive to medications. Thank you.

3.25mg. But you can go even lower. Usually taken as a two times a day dose but for bodybuilding, take it when you BP is highest

It’s hair safe and the dose for muscle gain isn’t really known. I would only use it if using steroids and you have blood pressure issues. It really depends on the scenario. It shouldn’t be used for the purpose of muscle gain

Hello Dr. Nick. How about using propranolol vs nebivolol? Also can you take propranolol with Telmisartan? There’s a study in mouse that when these 2 drugs are taken together, it reduces liver fibrosis and bile duct proliferation which i think can be beneficial if you are on cycle
