Could you guys make a tip Tuesday on some of the common mistakes in packing a canopy that can cause unnecessary wear or a malfunction?

i use bands that are so tight its crazy, ive only just started packing and struggle to double stow on the locking stows, but other guys can do it, its driving me mad!

I love these tutorials, thank you. Could doing a double stow at the locking stows cause a bag lock? Could you do a video on things that could cause a baglock.

During the video, he talks about that and says a locking stow will not cause a baglock. I am assuming he would caveat that statement with "a locking stow at proper pull tension to release". 7 to 12 lbs is what I use, and easy to simulate with you bare hand if you first "calibrate" your hand with a spring scale. The margin is pretty good that you will be within the 7 to 12 lb limit if you have a good idea what 9.5 lbs feels like (think slightly more than a gallon of milk).

I'm struggling so much with replacing the stupid elastics when they break.... what's the easiest and fastest method to take them off without feeling like youre mutilating your fingertips?

use the closing pin, put it through the thicker part of the rubber band at the attachment point..grab both sides of the closing pin locking the band between your fingers and and pull.
