They say they’re similar in strength, but Jason is far more stronger imo. He threw a decapitated head at a helicopter and made it explode. Plus punching the guy’s head off is something Michael can’t do. So I don’t know why they say they’re similar in strength when it’s obvious Jason is far far stronger.

"nobody had a gun huh?" actually during that scene where the mob was beating the shit out of him a guy DID have a revolver and shoot him 6 times however he took all 6 shots and the entirety of the town beating his ass and STILL got up afterwards(even if they had a shotgun michael has survived shotgun blasts before)

Shotgun would have killed him, a thing to note newer Micheal isn’t as tough as previous version, a shotgun blew his fingers offs in the 2018 film and movie makes very cleared revolver shot to the skull can insta kill him. While Micheal did get up, we how badly fucked he his in the next film, it not something he can shrugg off like Jason, even Micheal like curse of thorn who did take multplie shotgun rounds from cops had to crawl away and escape an explosion and was so weak he needed an old man to nurse him back to health for a full year
