Thanks for another great Evernote video, Vlad. It seems to be a lost cause, but Evernote really needs to beef up their PDF annotation tools. Ability to save customized pens/pencils; sizable/scalable stickers (many complaints about this); customizable signatures, stickers, etc.

I agree with the need for better tools, but I don't think it's a lost cause. I believe it is a matter of time and limited resources. Until the other day, they were prioritizing the rebuilt. From the outside, Evernote 10 looks the same as before, but technically speaking, the company had to put a lot of energy (developers) into creating a new Evernote. Then came all the complications of new software. But I believe this stage ended. I've been seeing so many small upgrades that indicate we are in a new stage of improvements. For example, I'm working on a quick video to show how we can now filter notes by parent only or parent plus child tags. This was not possible before. Unfortunately, I cannot talk about what I know is coming, but I can assure you new features are coming. And improvements will continue to happen to old ones. Great video. It there way to set all notes to show "all pages" in pdf rather than single page like the previous releases?

Not that I know of. However, as you mentioned, this existed before. And since they are gradually bringing back older features, I believe this will also be added at some point in the future.

Great video! Does the Evernote pdf editor support windows, iphone and ipad? I mean, the changes are synchronized across windows and apple?

Yes, changes and annotations sincronize across all Evernote clients.

I am a insurance agent, and I use my android tablet heavily to do business by having my clients sign off on pdfs that I have to duplicate for them to use. On evernote, can i lasso things from an existing PDF or does it only work for new handwritten fonts? Does organization of folders work as I like to organize mines by states. Plz get back to me. PS, I tried using the free version but I dont see where I can write on a PDF.

I had noticed the new PDF Preview feature (introduced in version 10.31.6, released February 16, 2022), but couldn't get it to work. Then, when watching your video, I realized that you can see the PDF preview only if you're viewing Evernote full screen. If you're using a smaller window, you see the PDF options, but not the preview.

Great little tutorial.Thank you.@ 0:19 the drop down box doesn't give me the "Export" or "Export as PDF " option Not sure why as I am on a paid plan . I love the annotation tools in Evernote, though limited. Thanks again.

Thank you for the comment. Are you using the latest version of Evernote 10? If I remember correctly, this feature was not available on pre-10 versions. I also believe it is not an option on the old subscription plans.

@@vladcampos Thank you for taking time to reply.Yes you are right .This option is only available in the new "Professional" plan and not in the "Personal" plan .I will need to upgrade.

I'm not seeing how to undo actions when annotating pdfs - if I highlight the wrong line - how do correct that? Thanks!

I'm not sure why that is, but you can still do it using the "Ctrl or Cmd + Z" keyboard shortcut or by clicking to select the annotation and then pressing the Backspace key.

Hi Vlad, in your video you don't speak about printing notes with a pdf inside. I have a lot of such notes and I still print a lot of notes. When printing a note with a pdf inside, I only see the title of the pdf, also when I'm sharing the note. If I want my correspondent to see the pdf I have to open the pdf and send a copy to him separately. Thats 2 actions. That's not what I want. I tried a lot of possibilities, like Apple Notes (where it works, the note contains de full PDF) but I prefer Evernote for other reasons. On the internet I don't find solutions. Now I did find a (90%) solution: I open the PDF on my Mac, I click on it and I can copy the pdf (only 1 page at the time) and paste it in an EN-note. Then I seems to be an image. Not 100% solution because of the multiple copies + the quality of the image is a little bit less thans the quality in the pdf. But my note contains now no longer a pdf but images, that are printed together with the note. If you have another solution, please tell us. Thanks for all your efforts. Greetings from Belgium.

Are you using Evernote 10.x? This feature is not available on legacy.
