In PDI, the major things you need to check are- scratches (exterior + interior), body color, body parts fitting, windows + wind shields & tyres. Rest all can be rectified later if required. Same procedure goes while taking the delivery, don't forget to check for tool kit & spare wheel this time.

These youtubers are over complicating PDIs. Car comes with warranty and all the cars have minute defects if you look keenly, that will spoil your car buying experience only. Just have an overview of exterior/interior and make sure all buttons and functions are working. Don't stress much.

3:25 that's called orange peel it's a paint defect it can be removed by compounding and polishing but it should be done now only if you wait then the paint will get more rough and rough and turn yellow or orange like

Just want to give one more suggestion mam please don't ignore this problem even if the dealership tells you to ignore in some cases orange peel needs to be rectified by repainting that particular panel please consult a expert outside the dealership

Very good video and congratulations mehak One important point you have missed Keep car on neutral and race the car as much as you can If there is any problem in engine Then it will make abnormal sound Something like knocking sound etc This happened with me when I went to purchase one Nissan tiida Thankfully I knew this trick Later mechanic confirmed that there is some issue with engine

One important thing left out. Open your bonnet and tail gate and check the welding joint lines. Watch if they are sealed with a sealant line. If they are replaced or welded in the workshop those sealants will be missing. This is a very important check to identify accidental cars. Remember dealers are notorious. They even sell accidental cars by repairing them. If any fender or body panel or replaced, the factory seal will be missing. ☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️

Cars today are highly technology driven. Checklist cannot do justice. I recenely bought my Tata Harrier and I hired Zekardo PDI to conduct the PDI for my new car. They found issues with my car not only in sensor but also discovered that the car had a meter rollback since dealer did not have demo car so they had used my car as demo car. I cancelled my car and then got a new car after that. They again came to do the PDI and when it got cleared by them, i bought the car. Highly recommended to every car buyer. THey are the only company to conduct PDI for new car in India. Best part is they have zero tie up with dealer.

*"Check tyre pressure"* *"All"* car company fill *"1.5 times"* the standard pressure... (For some reason) but during delivery make sure if tyre pressure is more release air and bring it to standard pressure
