PDP would have lost by the largest unimaginable margin if Alex Ekweme was picked. And, with whom did you make the agreement with? Both AD, PDP and APP were formed by thesame political group. They formed PDP first, but left it when it was hijacked by political gladiators wanting to impose their own rules rather than the founding rule, same happen to APP they still moved to for AD. Alex Ekweme had no chance to win or nigeria would have divided if either of Falai or Obasanjo did not win that election. Some television talkers could be self effacing to the maximum. If Olu falai was the president, he would have thrown away the military constitution of 1999 and divide the country also

@ayenia2736 am replying u cus u made sense, before PDP was hijacked the Yoruba leaders in PDP has already agreed on EKWUEME before the emergency of OBASANJO at PDP national convention it's TOMI IKIMI &CO that North used to rigg EKWUEME OUT.try and asked some political juggernauts during that ERA and don't forget OBASANJO was already in prison and ABACHA has already concluded on his matter.i also want you to know that i was a SOUTH EAST student coordinator for youth earnestly asked for ABACHA YEAA so when it comes to Nigerian politics am not tribal 2023 a voted TINUBU tomorrow i will still vote TINUBU and if sheyi comes out for LAG I GO VOTE SEYI Politics is a game of number.have a nice day

@ well, i could understand your opinion on this. But at that particular time, yoruba was 100 percent willing to go. ALL political blocks in the southwest were preparing for a serious legal and traditional battles then. I held a poltical office at that time. The death of MKO put an end to any alliance between yorubas and EVERY other tribe in the country. OBJ was actually BEGGED/PERSUADED by IBB/ATIKU/YARADUA'S PDM political group, and we even thought he would be killed after winning the election. Ekwueme's candidacy could never beat the game Bola Ige, Adedibu, Olu Falae wanted to play. It was never about the presidency, but division. Had OBJ refused that ticket, Abdusalam would be in a great danger of a military coup
