The earliest known example of a composer who took samples from other people's work and mixes them, forward and backwards together, with bells and whistles. Perhaps the first House Music DJ.

I loved Professor Shickele. Saw him perform with the Cleveland Orchestra back in the 70s, but actually, Spike Jones was doing stuff sort of like this decades earlier.
