Thank You, I really liked your way of articulating the value of the tools, approach, methods and reasons regarding the decisions that detail your work. I'm just starting out and I suck, but I enjoy doing it on, unfortunately my own car. However it's more reason for me to strive to up my game and get it right. Watching how you get down and that another's skills made an impression on you, is inspirational to me to take it up a notch I know that my car will benefit from your instruction. With much Respect~

Thank you so much for watching Randy! Had hrs at all possible, grab a scrap panel from a local bodybshop, a hood preferably. Usually they’ll give them free. If not they are assholes, but the 20 bucks they might charge us well worth it. If you want to significantly speed up your learning, check out www.realworldpdr.com I’ve got anything you might need there! Thank you for watching!

Hey Marcelo! That is completely dependent upon you. Within the first 3 weeks and very first video you should be able to repair your first dent cleanly (Pdr 101) and the lessons just build from there. It has information for brand new techs all the way to super advanced. So you can stick with it as long as you want.

This is the most informative video I have ever seen about killer whale tail and the pirate hook and I can tell you I’m 100% sold and will order them very very soon Tell you truth if this crease came to me I wouldn’t touch it 😊😊 it’s scary just to look at it 😅 but after your video my attitude changed 360• Can’t thank you enough for this great information, there were some videos that really took me a step further but this video took me steps I just have a question about the access was through the window opening when you removed the glass? Thank you Jim appreciate the knowledge ✌️🙏
@RealWorldPDRTraining
@RealWorldPDRTraining 5 жыл бұрын
The access was great after the window was out. Towards the rear of the door closest to the handle it was still too tight for either of these tools though!!

Use them all the time!!!!! That big gnarly Kia, on this channel I used it for that. I ordered the small one last night too. Tomas hit me up today, they are releasing some nice ones I believe tomorrow, maybe next week. Keep your eyes peeled. I’ve got mine ordered (perks of spending all the money with them I guess) and some are extremely limited. Like 5 pieces. So be first or miss out!

Urgh are you kidding? I woulda waited and ordered them both. Now I'll get slapped with duty and shipping twice
@RealWorldPDRTraining

Shiiiit. Make sure Tomas splits your orders if they exceed I think 1000 bucks. It’ll get you out of some of those duties whenbshipoing to the states.

what are you using to bend these tools? they are pretty hard. heating first? hydraulic press?

@straightlines7432
@straightlines7432 5 жыл бұрын
I have the pirate hook first addition . I was thinking of bending itdid you just put it in a vise to do that or did you use an acetylene oxygen torch? Also when you bend it that puts the foot of the tool at a a different angle to the panel is that a problem?
@RealWorldPDRTraining
@RealWorldPDRTraining 5 жыл бұрын
So I’ve been told NOT to heat it, that’s what I did too. Apparently this type of steel is better just bent cold. I’ve had 0 Problems.
@straightlines7432
@straightlines7432 5 жыл бұрын
@@RealWorldPDRTraining so you did heat it. How about the different angle of the sharp area on the foot to the panel ? Is that an issue?
@RealWorldPDRTraining
@RealWorldPDRTraining 5 жыл бұрын
Nope, very little difference, I just make sure to take my time and bend it so the right surface makes contact. I’ll be sure to update if I notice drastic changes.

I’ve been thinking about this comment all day and about how lucky I am. My whole business started with a 1500 dollar loan from my family. That bought my first set, and I’ve built it over the years. Guarantee my mom never imagined the return on that investment for me. Let me see what I can do, I’m pretty good at rallying troops and spreading good will. Send me an email at denttoolsfreak@gmail.com. I think the industry needs a program for people with a desire to learn, and I might be just the guy to start it.
