My thing about gun bars in nerdcore is that it’s still hip hop but nerdcore is still part of just the entertainment factor that people just seem to enjoy about rap..it’s some actors they enjoy playing certain roles like the drug lord or thug in general and they aren’t like that whatsoever.. and nerdcore is filled with nerds who rap sprinkled in with people who rap who just like nerd stuff.. I wouldn’t look too deep into gun bars..it’s just for entertainment purposes on tracks like this rather they with that life or not

It would be really weird if Pe$o would work with people he didn't respect them. I don't do music professionally, it's not my job, but it would be super weird if Pe$o kept releasing songs with people who 'aren't about that life', and you give him a free pass because you like him and his music, but then don't extend the same suspension of disbelief to the other people on the song. Like, 99% of the characters anime rappers are using as inspiration or are embodying or whatever never touch a gun. Madara is a character that you have reacted to a lot of times (Rustage, FabVl, and others), and that man commits WAR CRIMES, but you're not really troubled by those lines. And I get it. when it comes to pens for me in the anime scene at least it's TY WILD, VI SECONDS, YAYU, DPS, AND SURPRISINGLY AERIAL ACE. But I also don't really like when scru cares if they about that life in reference to anime rap 🤔 as they are internalizing the characters they portraying. The only reason I have a problem with that is because I feel like it's petty and in a sense, beneath him. Also, I remember defending him when it came to the grizzy hendrix reaction to him and Luke gawne diss. As he stated that the reason he gave the Luke the W was because scru had "too many fake gun bars" which one Luke had more gun bars and two I would believe scru shooting over Luke being a shooter. In the form of a diss is the only time I would say being about what you rap about comes to the surface. Rap is an art form, and a way to express one's self in the form of writing ✍️ and some artist can just express the thoughts of what they want to do. Or what they could do. There are artist here who rap just to stay off the streets and I would not fault them for that. To me if the bars are good, they are good rapper. I don't believe they have to live that life in order to be a good rapper. I respect scru to death but lately there has been some cringe opinions I'm just being honest much respect tho he is talented.
