Nice! Shaun's reel speed was too high for the ground speed... bet he was shelling some out at the reel with them being that dry. Not picking them up off the ground thank goodness so just need enough reel speed to keep them moving into the auger and off the cutterbar... But for a first try looks pretty good...

On thing, reel speed is too high and it was too low, peas shatter before getting into the header. Cutting peas without using reel, that what I do. I use reel only when cutting downed peas.

I run a Case 1682 and never really been around NH much but the neighbour had a TX 66 for years and wasn’t a fan of it. They got a used CX 8080 now and they love it. They swath everything like I do no straight cutting. Heard the straight cut headers for them are pretty pricey.

some one told me to check you out since i like Newholland, and versatiles ect so much. dad had two yellow monsters chuckles I was a green girl, i had a 7721? johndeer pull type. I much perfered the pull type. my biggie was unlike your problem i had to set blocks to pull the combine wheel up on to get the unload auger over the top of the box on the tandem, until i made a hole to put the truck in. we farmed in central alberta until early nineties when dad passed.

I am still pulling wrenches and welding. I am a strange girl I became a welder got bored and all ways liked mechanics so still am a heavy duty mechanic. If had my way and could be possible still would love to find a job farming again. While pulling wrenches I also drove for many years since driving was my first ever off the farm job when I was a teen chuckles a long way from a teen now

I still run a 1682 Case PT. Had a 2388 but sold it and bought another swather and another 1682 Case. I death everything regardless and it puts two tractors to work instead of sitting there for 11 months of the year. Had a 7721 JD before as well. Good combines and they made beautiful straw. Just hated the fan speed adjustment on it. A pure guessing game.

I noticed you have a TR89 bubble up auger, but I haven't seen a grain tank extension like that before. Someone ripped off your factory 3 ft steel spout on your unloading auger. It makes it so much easier and your grain doesn't blow all away on a windy day.
