My friend who is a gifted musician told me: Peace Frog. One of the best bass grooves ever from a band with no bass player! My ears are bad as I am older but I did not hear the bass? Still a great band and fantastic song. It makes me realize just how good Rush was being 3 gents playing multiple instruments simultaneously for 40 years!. Still love the doors though! Thank you!

He was probably talking about the studio cut, there's bass on that, but they didn't have a live bass player which is why you don't hear it in this one

I know what you mean but there’s definitely bass there. To me it sound like they had some session bass player who didn’t know the line, but I only heard 1 keyboard. So imagine ray forgot the bassline and improvised on low volume.

Hi, per my comments above the Doors [nearly] always used a bass guitarist in the studio and [nearly] never did onstage, hence a bass-led track like PF sounding quite different live.

@mrmojorisin8752 Жыл бұрын
The lyric is based on a Jim poem on abortion, but clearly he modified it to focus on the 60s. Embarrassing the Robbie didn’t understand this. Blood in the streets of the town of New Haven refers to Jim’s arrest there, not a frickin’ abortion!
