Rupert articulates and explains the truth of our nature better than anyone else I've ever come across.

Search about Swami Sarvpriyanand especially a video named "Who Am I IITK" you'll not be disappointed and thank me later. Although rupert is great too.

I've never thought of the happiness we experience when we get something as a small window of time where we experience our true nature because the seeking has momentarily stopped. This is brilliant!

Laura YOU'RE a gift. Calm, brief, pointed comments and questions. Making the focus PRIMARILY ON RUPERT. Unlike so many other interviewers who deflect the attention from Rupert to themselves. As if THEY were why we tuned in. (hahaha) YOU know what our real interest was. Thank you.

One of the most amazing interview of Rupert Spira, such clarity and purity of words make the understanding even more clear. Laura surely with her questions helped bring the interview to another level. Communion of two beautiful souls! Thank you for this moment..🙏✨

Rupert is excellent as always.Thanks for having him. Personally i understand the non-dual approach in a bit different way. For me the basic understanding is that we are all aspects or manifestations of a single indivisible whole or reality.Our belief of separation,of individuality ,is due to ignorance. Deep understanding of the above weaken considerably the two major beliefs which constitute the self-illusion state. 1 .There is me (individualization) 2. I am so and so (identification). It is the first step towards equanimity. And equanimity for me is bliss.

The Buddha said that desires/wants/etc are the source of suffering. The desire/seeking of enlightenment is also a source of suffering/frustration (perhaps the greatest/saddest desire). If you give up the seeking energy and just BE, then you find that what you were eternally seeking was there all along.

How can we know that happiness is always the same experience? We cannot go back and recreate previous happiness-es. Do we have to take your statement that “ happiness is always the same experience “ on faith???

enlightenment is the natural state of our being that's all, it's not something gained it's just realized when you become aware of your self but has always been there and has never been apart from you. I could try to say more but here words just end up going in circles around what's trying to be talked about and never hit or get to what is being tried to talk about so really there is nothing that can be said about this that really comes into truly talking about it, even now just saying this I want to go in circles trying to say something about it, so I will just stop, that's the best that can be said, it is right here, not a here that can be pointed at, just here. Stop putting your attention on things, really all you keep your attention on is your senses and mind or mind things/stuff, stop doing that and put you attention on yourself not what your senses or mind is telling you, just yourself, just be as you are, just yourself! Wake up! Love you all ❤🙏🏼❤🙏🏼❤... really I do love you all.... Namaste ❤❤❤

Why does Spira bring up religion so often? This stuff doesn’t need religion.
@terefefeyssa877 Жыл бұрын
Plumeria66: Your problem is with religion. If that is your problem, there are many choices for you. You don't dictate how a teacher should teach.
@plumeria66 Жыл бұрын
@@terefefeyssa877 And you don’t dictate what my problem is or isn’t. You sound like a cult follower being very defensive and protective about your guru.

Religion is just mythological stories that point to truth. Think of it as metaphor.
@terefefeyssa877 Жыл бұрын
@plumeria66 : I don't have Guru, and I will never have. The teaching of Rupert Spira itself doesn't allow a cult game. He is not creating a blind followers. He does not even ask or encourages anybody to follow him. You did not understand his teachings at all.
@plumeria66 Жыл бұрын
@@terefefeyssa877 No, you act like a cult follower even if Spira is not a cult leader. You’re being defensive and overprotective of a teaching. His teaching doesn’t need your help or your voice. I asked a question and you couldn’t answer and instead told me I was dictating him. Your false self overreacted as you should know. Anyway, you are rude which is not what he teaches. So you don’t understand a single thing!

The sense of something, versus Reality, are fleeting... including "sense of presence". Not seeing the argued point. All experience is to my imaginary dream character... just a biological 'side effect' in animals clearly. No abiological unchanging experience... this node's observations..

Do not agree on describing the essence of the being, like colorless. Actually it is full opposite
@vinceofyork Жыл бұрын
It's both simultaneously
@Shane7492 Жыл бұрын
The essence of being is referring to the part of our being that never changes. The part that never changes must be empty, formless, colorless, etc. The fullness of form, color, etc. is experienced, but it isn't the changeless essence.
