I really don’t think the “whatever tho” has a whole lot of substance to it. The way I hear that is Kendrick Lamar is essentially saying “whatever, I can’t control how weezy reacts or feels I can only control how I react.” Obviously I don’t know, I haven’t talked to either of them but to me it really seems like it hurt Kendrick he got this huge opportunity to play the superbowl and in these big moments that should be times of celebration and congratulations he didn’t get the reaction he expected from people he has great respect and admiration for. People need to understand that most pages of an artist aren't controlled by the artist even tweets are made by people running the artist's social media account to make him trend etc

Yea but common. Even if someone is managing the page that's a huge jump out of the window tweet to make that you would 100% consult the artist first before posting

@KnoxHill Yeah thats true but it also depends on the artist and if they where not dumb enough to sign a contract that gives him power to be able to tell them dont post this because at the end of the day that 1 post and song gave lil wayne more views then any of his new songs and at the end of the day some artist have 0 say on the matter because of signing horrible contracts

Personally, and I barely started the video but I believe he probably didn't hear the actual lyrics and people on his camp. Just said that Kendrick was dissing him and asking what he was going to do, etc etc. And Wayne said what he said thinking Kendrick dissed him but didn't know in what way which granted is definitely not the smartest way to handle that but his expression seems genuine while he's hearing the lyrics, kind of like a.
