Peace with one another 1. Assess the value of the relationship 2. Start talking 3. Learn to listen 4. Be honest and transparent 5. Work toward finding the root cause 6. Avoid accusation 7. Be willing to admit fault 8. Seek godly relationship counseling 9. Be willing to work at overcoming the problems God never requires us to violate his principles to have peace with others When peace seems impossible 1. Ask for God's guidance 2. Seek a godly counselor for yourself 3. Evaluate advice based on the word of God 4. Cultivate the right attitude ✓ A pure heart ✓ Love The holy spirit enables us to look beyond behavior to see the real person ✓ Patience ✓ Forgiveness: we can't justify an unforgiven spirit

Thank you 🙏 I have forgiven my family for all their abuse they’ve been putting me through for 20+ years but they are the ones that wont forgive me now for putting up boundaries to them and giving myself a voice at last. The abuse even got worse after that. They are so used to treat me bad and they can’t stand that I’m not letting it happen anymore. They even want me to ask for forgiveness from them. They wont talk to me now until I do it and they ignore me, I’m not invited to any birthdays anymore etc. They wont even let me see our dog 💔 I’m happy to hear the message here that I’m not responsible for how they act. And I will continue to choose peace even though they choose something else. I will continue to be understanding and forgiving. It’s really hard but I know I have Jesus and God by my side and that I’m never alone although it sometimes hurts so much ❤

Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her

Don't seek the one who doesn't want to stay with you forever. Seek the Lord Jesus Christ he will be with you for the rest of your life. God just saved you from a whole life of heart ache for a temporary pain that will just last for a moment. I've lost someone after 10 years, and I'd say it hurts but just for the moment. God's love will be with you forever. Seek and you shall find the one true God Jesus Christ your savior. Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. -Matthew 7:7

I live in a torn stormy marriage. We have rage towards each other built over a 40 year marraige. I have made mistakes and so has my wife. But I truly have been seeking God to stop my anger and be forgiving and act in kindness to my wife. To stop reacting to her abuse and refuse to fight back and be abusive in return. Being triggered is easy for me, and it is a struggle to choose grace over angrily reacting. But mostly I just have to remain quiet and pray and just take it. I seek God to show me how to live in peace not resentful anger. I am moving forward, I am getting better at restraining my tongue when my wife is attacking me, calling me names, cursing me, my parents, my personality etc. So at least one of us is trying to submit to Grace. I pray for her to find peace also for her sake. It does hurt, being honest, to hold fire when I could fire back, but instead ask God what to do.

Prayers for your disability comes quicky and have you heard of turmeric / Curcumin? it's good for general health, inflammation, joint, immune, and cardiovascular. I take it everyday. It really works. Also I make and take this everyday for a week when I'm feeling under the weather . 1/2 cup honey, 1 teaspoon ground Turmeric powder,1/2 teaspoon ground Ginger, 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract. take one teaspoon of less. put it in tea or coffee. I just eat it raw. I pray for healing and when you get your surgery the healing is fast. Much love and many blessings to you Joy. your sister in Christ , Laraine

“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household. Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” Matthew 10:34-39 ESV “Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division. For from now on in one house there will be five divided, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”” Luke 12:51-53 ESV “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple. Whoever does not bear his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:26-27 ESV

What if the family member is gossiping...tale-bearing....not willing to hear you tell them it's unbiblical and that you have a hard time trusting them because you clearly see them talking behind others back...and they've talked about you to others behind your back. What if you value that relationship...but when you try and talk, they shut you down...they refuse to change and CONSISTENTLY gossip, etc.
What if someone steals from you and admits it? Are you to forgive them,,?

I'm going through a problem with my church friend. I started a dispute by text. She asked me to separate. I made a mistake by contacting her, and it resulted with her calling me a stalker, and now she has blocked all contact with me, and she said we are not friends, and she told me I cannot come back to Bible study if she's there. Should I respect her needs or should I forget her and do what I want. I don't think she'll come around. What should I do? It's been 2 months since the text fight
