In order to able to repair our tools quickly we want to build a furnace xp farm. Bamboo is our fuel of choice this time. That's why we build a 85,000 bamboo per hour farm.

Maybe they could use one of the mods that allows you to summon fake players. They would have to kick him from the server and then summon him back. I think there is some command in that mod that allows you to force player to mount a minecart.

It’s more efficient to use wooden slabs as fuel. 3 logs = 3 charcoal which must be smelted with what could have been more fuel and that 3 charcoal gives you 24 items of smelting. On the other hand, 3 logs = 12 planks = 24 slabs. 24 slabs 36 items for smelting. SLABS > CHARCOAL FOR FUEL

I know it's not optimal but we always just use chickens for XP. We fortune harvest wheat for seeds and then just have a long pit set up with upside down stairs over it so we can't accidentally fall in (did that once and got crushed to death). We breed chickens, and then when it gets too crowded we hit them with a looting sword and kill most of them. We trade the raw chicken to the butcher and the feathers to the fletcher for more xp and emeralds and recycle the eggs back in to make sure we always have lots of chickens. It's not uncommon, when we harvest them, to get 4-5 stacks of chickens. We can usually can repair a tool up fully with one feeding session, and maybe two tools when we kill most of them. Our wheat farm is in the middle of our bee farm so it grows faster. (And of course we trade the wheat to farmers). With the crush mechanic your chickens won't crash the server like they could in the early days. It's something that we definitely could improve but it is so crazy simple to set up in early game and just good enough that we almost never bother going farther. I guess that's why we aren't youtubers. :) /An auto melon or pumpkin farm would probably be a better option for getting the seeds, although the wheat gives us both seeds and something to trade where melon/pumpkin you lose some of your trading material to harvest the seeds. Of course that many chickens can cause a bit of lag. You can store the eggs instead of constantly feeding in for a quick boost if you want to kill the chickens.

btw, i changed the 4 way flying machine in my skyblock, I lowered it by 1 and then removed the bottom slimes and made it wider by 4 blocks the observers are right above the bamboo then, but it doesnt matter since they dont get grow updates when the observer is above it
