9:20 I lost the EXACT same way against a buddy of mine literally yesterday. It was me with a terraoath deck and him with a mono black suicide, and drew dark ritual -> dark ritual -> hatred to pump a Mishra's factory to 21/2 to swing for game turn 2 or 3. I think Hatred is my fave card in premodern.

At the beginning of game one, why Dark Ritual to hard cast unmask when you can just exile it to play it for free and save 2 mana? Also, why didn't he play out the wall of roots when he needed the blocker?

You should think about a 9/9 split of snow covered swamps and regular swamps, to increase the depth of a Tainted Pact. Edit: You already took it out, when I hear it right in the video. I think Pact is a card, which is somehow hard to play. If you want to play it, you should run 4 (better 3) copies of each card at max

That's a great idea! In the latest version I just cut it for more creatures. I added Nantuko shades as an extra mana sink which I'm really liking.

@@Heavy_Play the shade is also fine. He is so awkward to block with mana open. But always nice to experiment with stuff like Tainted Pact, which I try out in a BW Control Shell right now

I had a two player spellground mat back in the day. Always got looks cause they weren't common to use back then. Wish I kept it cause I loved that mat.

Could have paid 10 life and kept the negator imo.

Hatred only buffs power so the Negator was dead either way. The correct move would of been not swinging until I had lethal setup 😅
