As I listen to this music I can't help but picture Alicia de Larrocha on the stage of Jordan Hall in Boston from 1967. The second half of her program was all music by these Spanish composers. It was all new to me and I've loved this music ever since. I'd seen her numerous times since. She retired in 2003 at age 80, passed away in 2009, and May 23, 2023 marks the 100th anniversary of her birth.

I have heard All the complete Mozart sonatas from Everyone. Hers are the ones I prefer

@@dougcameron6609 At that 1967 performance she played the Mozart Sonata in B flat K333, my favorite.

These are delightful pieces. Spanish music is uplifting, light and airy. It’s very pleasing but overshadowed, sadly, by the other European masters.😊

Zaista izvanredna edicija španske muzike!!! Izvanredan zvuk snimka , na zaista visokom nivou. Izvođenje takođe veoma kvalitetno. Španska muzika je muzika sa karakterom . U ovom slučaju mogla bi biti i izvanredna filmska muzika , ima tu priču i atmosferu. Slično Respiđiju njegovoj muzici. Izvanredan izbor , hvala❤❤❤❤

Wunderschöne Interpretation dieser kompakten und ethnisch komponierten Klavierwerke im angemessenen Tempo mit klarem doch sanftem Klang des technisch fehlerlosen Klaviers und mit angenehmer Dynamik. Die Virtuosität aller Pianisten ist wahrhaft bewundernswert. Faszinierend vom Anfang bis zum Ende!
