Get a very forgiving plant, like a snake plant or ZZ plant, and spend a few months with it. Don't over water. then add more as it becomes part of your regular lifestyle.

Just wanted to let you know that "mini monstera" is a very common misnomer for your Rhaphidophora tetrasperma. They're both aroids but don't belong to the same genus or species. They're related on the family level though.

Something that we can benefit from greatly is understanding insects that can overcome interior plants. Since we don't have a way )normally) to have any beneficial insects in our interior spaces, insect infestations can get out of control quickly if not spotted and addressed in time. :) A video about that would be really helpful.

WOW. No wonder my snake plant isn’t growing. It’s in a high lit area. Just loved it to a low light area.

You know, Snake plants can tolerate a wide range of lighting conditions from low to bright. Though they can burn if they are in direct sunlight. It could be that it wasn't growing due to the fact that we were coming out of a dormant season (fall and winter), and have now entered a growing season (spring and summer). Give it time and a little plant food. Might be all it needs.

I will not remember the names, as I am bad with names including the human ones. But when I go to the plant store I will remember the leaves by what you show and will probably end up buying if I have the environment for them. i have the goeppertia elliptica vittata as well and it gave me new leaves since i placed it near a humidifier. my dracaena moonshine got taller and gave me new growth when i gave it more sunlight too
