Going Overland

Күн бұрын

This week we slip away for a weekend down on the border Rangers and stay in Sheep Station Creek Campground
Staying in a rainforest is always so relaxing and when you can find a camp that is quite and spacious it's magic.
We actually stayed here in May but are a little behind in posting.

Thanks mate, just a regular family the love the outdoors and finding new places to camp. It's getting annoying going through other youtube videos and all the titles are "we nearly die. The worst thing ever. We broke everything." And it's something small like a shock absorber rubber, and a exhaust mount 🙄

@@GoingOverland I can relate to being forgetful in the moment, just a human thing and I reckon adds to the feel of the video rather than editing it to make it all perfect.

Hey Family, we camp at Hidden Valley Camping and tea gardens, because it’s dog friendly, we don’t leave our fur child at home, but did drive up to Sheep Station and had a quick look around it so nice, another good video.👍

Thanks for watching and the support, we definitely need to find a new spot we can camp with our dog, but we really want to found somewhere we can camp alone and let him off the lead

The rainforest regions on the NSW/QLD border are certainly a beautiful location and that campsite looked great. I'll definitely have to check it out. 😀 While the rain and mist can mean you'll miss out on the views, it makes up for it with the raging waterfalls. 🙂 Oh and Hayley snapped the best photo of you. 🤪

Mate you've been on the road for so long, that cruiser probably needs a day off👍 It's a strange feeling when you stop and go back to full time work, took me weeks to get comfortable showering inside and not camping somewhere new every day or 2

@@GoingOverland I'm hearing you. I'm back in Qld, in Central Qld, staying with a friend. Just doesn't feel right in a bed again...lol! As for work, it could take me anywhere! I'm currently looking for a location where I haven't been. It'll give me the opportunity, to branch out and explore, the region. Anyhoo, trust all of you are well. I'll endeavour to catch up with you and the family some day. Keep up the good work guys!

We often head out the Andrew Drynan camping area but gets pretty packed these days. Might give this one a try. Qld could learn something from the NSW National Parks. Creepy crawlies all part of it. Only ever leave thongs outside, shoes in the car. Take care guys.
