Peaceful Retreat to Deep Creek Lake Maryland 2024

Our 2024 trip to Deep Creek Maryland was nothing short of amazing! From the spectacular views down to the AirBnB we stayed. Booked an amazing pontoon boat tour and learned the amazing history of the lake. Book with High Mountain Sports pontoon tours (Highmountainsports.com). Highly recommended! Ask for Ray he is the best tour guide around.

I've been visiting Deep Creek Lake since the late 60's - it is one of Maryland's best places to visit. I learned to sail on DCL when I was just a young boy back in the day. It's been 7 years since my last visit there - a 4 day/ 3-night tour of the area. In fact, in your video @ 1:23 mark my condo appears in the background - Will O' the Wisp. Just about that time for me to go back there too. It's just different in Western Maryland. Besides the Lake and its many boating activities- there are State Parks for nature hiking. The view from the top at the Wisp Resort after the ski lift ride is spectacular. Thanks for posting this video.

Oh yes, the Will O' the Wisp we had dinner at Aces one night. Beautiful! We LOVE Deep Creek and Western Maryland. You don't even feel like you're in Maryland when you're there
