Just FYI, the author Damon Suede was like the head guy for the RWA and he was in charge of the whole debacle with Courtney Milan and racism/sexism issue at RWA. He stepped down and had to apologize for his handling of the allegations against RWA. I wouldn’t read anything by him after that IMHO.

Me neither. Especially as he was also involved with the Dreamspinner not paying authors (incl TJ Klune) thing too (that RWA did nothing to help the authors with). I choose not to support people like that.

Princess of Paperback you should listen to the audio of Priest. Not only is this book amazing, but Jacob Morgan does a hell of job. The story along with his narration was freaking perfect!

These were such great recommendations!! I loved this video, part 2 would be awesome! At Peace by Kristen Ashley was really good. Kristen Ashley is my all time favorite romance author, The Burg series was really good & so was her paranormal romance series (The Three). She writes great suspense within her romances & her latest release After The Climb was amazing! 😍

I’m going to need you to ready the rest of the Jessica hawkin series. You said you only read book one. Hands down its my favorite series of all time (I love Brooks 1,2,and 3) . I’ve been searching for books like it but have yet to find the love story to be as good!! Please finish the series if you haven’t yet and recommend some like it.

ahh I've been meaning to read the PSU series so I'm so glad you're going to be hosting a readalong!! also I'm very upset because I ordered books 1-7 of BDB and the third one is SO HORRENDOUS the top corner is like chewed off and there's water stains on the top and it makes me feel icky... and almost all of the books have cracked spines 😩 but it's fine... I'll survive. but I do think I need to get another edition of the third one because that's slightly ridiculous. but anyway these were all such great recommendations!! I'm currently reading Wife by Penelope Sky and it's pretty good. it's the first book in the Betrothed series

Anything by Judith McNaught and Jude Deveraux are amazing reads!!! I'm going to age myself, The Promise by Danielle Steel was my first romance, then I read Harold Robbins 79 Park Avenue. Now, I love Cathryn Bybee, Carolyn Brown, Nora Roberts, Nicholas Sparks in spurts as with Danille Steel, Available Miles and Jamie Beck

There are so many great books here, but Penny Reid is my number one. I really think you'd love her. The Knitting in the City series (which starts with Neanderthal Seeks Human and is great in its own rights) book #4 is the intro to the Winston Brothers series, which is just amazing. There's a whole "verse" set in that world with guest authors writing books set in this town that has been fantastic. I also really love the Jay Crownover series that B.B. Easton recommended, and I read If I Never Met You after Chandler read it. It's been my favorite book so far this year, and ummm I cried a lot but in a cathartic way.
